243.6 YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm super pumped even though I know in the next few days it's likely to jump back up again.

KarinRose - Don't let it bring you down! Up and down up and down, that's how it goes. You'll get through!

Karin I like to think it is your body backing up to gain momentum to charge down. Hang in there and you will see the drop that you have worked hard for.

Way to go Silverfire!!!

I am at 242.8. My body really likes the 240's. But at least it is not reversing into highers decades.

Mara, thanks I like that way of thinking about it... Like pulling back on a toy race car so it can zoom forward! :-)

Past the half way point as of today! I've done the impossible, I've lost weight since I started working in a coffee and donut shop!

Mara, maybe you are right because wonderment of wonderments I got on the scale this morning and almost keeled over!

It said 240.7!

Fully, aware that it might be teasing me, so I won't change ticker yet but amazed as this is the first real loss I've seen in weeks.

I have to remind myself that this is what happens when we keep working hard and staying on plan without immediate results...

Changing ticker down to 241 because that seems to be where I have settled at for the moment.

Good job everyone! Avezy, I'm impressed! I would be tempted by all the coffee syrup concoctions!

So I'm a newbie here. And I just jumped back a few pages to see how this thread works. I love it! What a brilliant idea to have short term goals like this. Anyway, this is my thread I think as I weigh 245. Well I did the last time I got on a scale. I don't like to weigh myself, as it depresses me. Anway, I work in the schools and we are about to start summer vacation. I'm hoping to use the time to jump start a life style change. And since you all have motivated me, I think I'll go take my dog for a walk. She'll certainly appreciate it, and I can use the exercise.

Welcome, Seana!

I like posting to specific threads because I don't feel quite as exposed and I feel more helped by people with situations more similar to mine. I post here, on weight watchers, on Couch to 5k, and on some of the challenges. But it is a great forum because you can pick and choose what you like ("ala carte")

Welcome Seana! You ladies will push through in no time! We can all motivate each other and be there in not time.

I have been in this thread too long. LOL But I know that is only a matter of time till I move down to the 230's decade.

Mara, I feel like I've been in this thread FOREVER! Lol.

I bounced up two pounds but am not taking it as hard because I started lifting weights and I think TTOM is approaching...

Long-time 3FC lurker, but trying to get more involved in forums. Anyhow, Hi, everyone!

247.8 yesterday and 248 today. I've had two consistent weeks of loss, so hoping I can keep that going!
