Congratulations! I lost weight while pregnant, because I was so focused on healthy eating for the baby. The only difference between that program and now is that I didn't calorie count while pregnant. Best of luck to you; its a wonderful thing!
I second everyone who said to please stick around!
And I also agree that if you continue to stay active and follow a healthy eating plan, you'll be in the best position to grow a healthy baby and stay healthy yourself. Don't worry about the scale, as long as you are doing the right things, that number isn't going to be that relevant. Let your doctor track your weight, but you have much better things to focus on!
Time for a break! I found out this afternoon that I'm finally pregnant! But of course I'm still going to eat healthy; once I have a chance to talk to my doctor I'll be sure to get advice on an appropriate eating plan to ensure I'm getting enough nutrition and calories.
I was heartbroken over losing my first pregnancy at the end of its first trimester in early 2012, and wanting to make my body healthier for the next try was the main drive behind my March reboot. I've made so much progress since then; not only am I 56 pounds lighter, I've been very active and have so much more life and energy. And as excited as I was back then, I was also scared and sickly. I'm not scared this time, and I feel like I'm on top of the world.
I've worked on and off with children for ages and have always wanted a baby of my own. I'm guessing I'll be due in mid-December. Wish me luck!
I guess we won't be weight loss buddies in the Mothers Day Resolution thread. j/k Congratulations! That is so awesome that you'll finally get a baby. I also would like a baby but it will be a while since I'm single and that status probably won't be changing any time soon. I hope this pregnancy goes well for you and I am sure it will as long as you keep eating healthy and exercising.
