I was thinking about hiding my scale until Monday, but decided to just stick with the daily weigh-ins. At least things are moving in the right direction now!

Can I keep it? Can I keep it?! I'm trying to decide what my game plan is today to have a nice party on the scale tomorrow.

I'm stalling at 200... In attempt to ward off a regain I'm taking a maintenance break in the 196-200 range. My goal was 192 but that just isn't gonna happen right now. Pretty bummed about it, but I feel like I just need to somehow reassure my body that it doesn't need to go into fat storage mode (if that even exists). Focussing now on letting my body tell me when it wants to get back down to 196 and beyond by getting more exercise, eating well, staying happy... I'm not out of the game by a long shot, just frustrated at feeling like I'm flogging a dead horse.

Well, it's not the eating, must be the TOM and walking I've started doing. Either way, makes me a very sad panda this am.

Holy cow, this 100# club is really active. I was posting on the daily weigh-in in Jan for a while, then got off track. I need this accountability, so here I go again. I am too stressed at work for many challenges, but I hope I can keep up with this one.

I do a daily weigh-in (D) and keep a weekly average (WA).

February weigh-ins:

S24 D:231.0 WA:230.3
M25 D:231.0 WA:230.5
T26 D:232.5 WA:230.8
W27
R28

This fat lady ain't singin'

Welcome, See My Feet!

I'm at 222 this morning...and oh how I wish to be at 219 this Saturday. I think I'm going to do some visualization about it! ;P

Radiojane, I haven't heard much about diet breaks, but tell me more! I'm glad you had success during your break!

Not much to say on my part. Usually my "breaks" are brought on by things like overtime or Christmas Holidays. But it just makes sense to me. You take a holiday from work so you don't burn out, why shouldn't you take a break from dieting.

When I started dieting though, I did read this article and it helped me understand that it wasn't the end of the world if I took a break:

Thanks for the link!!

26: 221.4
Same place I was 5 days ago...not bad, not bad....I still want to keep it.
I'm looking forward to me official WI today (I will be more then last WI), but I want to know my number so that on Saturday I can visualize my consultant saying, "Deanna, AWESOME, # pounds down since Tuesday!!"

Don't know what will happen on Saturday with TOM approaching though.

I really need to start doing this again!! Well, posting it, for accountability. It's amazing how merely typing in the daily weight with a bunch of gals (and gents) cheering you on helps keep you on track. I already knew this, mentally and emotionally but its tough to remember motivation waxes and wanes, it's persistent forward motion that keeps the scale dropping.
