Happy anniversary to me!
I started trying to lose weight exactly a year ago. Many ups and downs and I learned a lot along the way.
Do not despair if you do not lose for example.
Do not let a bad day become a bad week or escalate to a bad month. If you need a break, try to maintain. (I did these last two months and I survived the holidays without gaining)
Eat differently. Eat better.
Exercise. Move more in general.
Plan. I find that if I plan what I eat (and stick to it), I have the best results. Record things, what you eat, goals, recipes, ideas, affirmations and read them in times of weakness.
Do new things to excite you!
Things that happened in 2012
I lost 44 pounds.
I graduated C25K
I became wiser
I found 3FC
an immense help
I quit smoking for about 5 months (started again)
I stopped feeling as tired as I did when I was heavier, out of shape
I cooked some amazing new things
I got rid of 'fat' clothes
Things that will happen in 2013
I will lose as much as I can - preferably reach goal
I will run 2 5Ks - Who knows maybe I will train for bigger distances
I will quit smoking again
I will feel even better
I will eat healthy, nutritious and tasty food
I will save more money
I will buy new fabulous clothes
