I've had a horrible month for weight loss, and I think I actually gained this month. I'm up this weekend to 193.3. On the flip side, I have a lot to be grateful for this month... I left a job that made me miserable, started a new one where I already feel like I have an extended family, I went to California for BIL's engagement, and hubby's cousin got engaged here this past weekend. The new job has given me more time to myself, which means I'm making better choices, but now I really have to start getting back into working out, "the only workout I've ever regretted, is the one I didn't do" - read that on Twitter this morning.

Hope everyone is doing well I have yet to catch up on personals.

I ended the month with a small loss. Considering all the stress I've been under the last few months, I'll take it. Hopefully May will bring bigger numbers (or should I say smaller numbers?) . . .

up .6 today, but still in Onederland (199.6) I just had to have that one piece of pizza at 9pm... oh well, at least I didn't eat 3 or 4 like I used to I am SO very tired today, the weekend has caught up to me and I need sleep. Luckily DH has next two nights off, he's such a huge help, and lets me nap if I need to.

this month was full of ups and downs for me, though it did have a plus side, I reached my lowest weight since I started my diet and got down to 125ish a few days ago, though ending the month at 126.6, I can't really calculate how much I lost this month as it was just all over the place, I hope next month is a bit more stable.

my weight keeps bouncing and I'm feeling slightly annoyed. However, I'm furious of what my teacher did. Our class had essay due that was supposed to be 4 pages(listed in his syllabus) Now today he said it was 11 pages and doesn't wants to discuss anymore about it. Other students turned in 4 pages too and were quite upset. This essay was due about 2 or 3 weeks ago and he's telling us NOW that it was 11 pages....there's only couple of weeks left for this semester. Now, I'm stressing and when that's happened I want to eat. ARGH!!! Sorry if my story doesn't make any sense but I am angry.

Hi Everyone!

I had a very busy day. I am planning to finish this post, my food post and get to bed early. I haven't gotten much sleep this week. Sleep is very important to keep going. This week is probably going to be really busy for me. My Mom has appointments this week and I need to try to close out my monthly books. I probably won't do much with personals this week. Please feel free to ignore me.

I hope all of you have a great week and start to the new month. I am wishing you all the strength you need to stick with your food and workout plans. Don't forget, you can do it! Hugs and love all around!

TOM here for the second time this month....so weird for me. Anyway, I'm going to take the lowest number to figure my weight loss for the month of April because the scale is wayyy off

So I lost 3 pounds total this month. I didn't make my goal, but I still feel good about the effort I put in. It prepared me for slow loss in the weeks ahead, but I won't quit!

Can't wait for a fresh start in May. It was so nice sharing the journey with all of you ladies!

Rennie - I hope you were able to get an antibiotic prescription for your tooth, even if you weren't able to physically see a dentist yet. Dental abscess is nothing to mess around with, and will only continue to get worse unless the tooth is treated (usually extraction or root canal). It takes a few days for the antibiotic to kick in, but it will buy you a short amount of time until you can treat it. Hang in there. I know you are feeling horrible, and I hope you can get help soon! Please take care. Extra hugs for you!
BTW Sometimes your primary care doc or the ER will give you a Rx until you can get in to see a dentist.

ChouKoe - I hated those long essays. Pure torture! Obviously quantity and not necessarily quality is being stressed. So not fair. Hang in there hon, and just put your nose to the grind stone and crank that baby out But stay away from the fridge!!! Ice cream and cake were my downfalls during end of the term stress. Don't do what I did!

QT - You rock! I did horrible this month, but somehow I feel happy when I see your numbers, so thank you I'm really excited for you!

SoCal - Congrats on your new low

Kukkie, Mama P - Looking forward to a new month of weight loss with you!

Diana - Wishing some better nights of rest for you and less stress as you do what you need to get done.

Down 1.4 today to 221.0 -- I'll keep plugging away at this vacation gain.

Diana -- I'd be pretty excited to see someone from Survivor too! It is weird how an hour or so difference in waking times seems to affect weigh ins. Hope your mom's feeling okay after her appt today. Gardening affected me in ways I didn't anticipate...for some reason my hips are aching today! Hips??? I would have expected arms, back or something like that...but hips?? Great idea, I'm going to hit the hay early today too.

Rennie -- Oh I hate toothaches, they are the worst! Are you going to see a dentist soon? Hope you feel better I'm glad about the loss for you, but your poor mouth! I hope you didn't end up needing a root canal or something.

Kelly -- Thanks! I would love to buy into the Disney Vacation Club, but I'm not sure its where I should be putting my money right now...but that's where my heart is!

Ona -- Sounds like you had a busy day planned. Gardening was lots of fun I'm going to grow veggies and herbs in my yard again this summer...I love fresh herbs from my own garden.

Caroline -- My month was not stellar either. I love your attitude though...keep chipping away at that fat!

Kukkie -- I think the change in job will be a major catalyst for you...here's to better months!

Kris -- At least you had a loss, good job!

Good job for those who lost and Diana hope you gets some sleep for your busy schedule.

Well, I binged...hard. I didn't fall of the wagon I jumped. I had Chinese, peanut brittle, soda and junk food in large portions which totaled 1,504 calories...over my maintenance. I really have to work in this week to burn off those calories. Thanks kifli for the encouragement but I was too weak to fight off my cravings.

kifli Thx! You didn't do horrible! you lost 3 lbs and you're almost to MY goal weight... it helps me to know what to expect as I get smaller, so I guess we're helping each other!
