-8 walking by the river today with my daughter I met a construction foreman who was down there. He told me he comes down once a day to make sure the work they are doing isn't messing up the river. I told him Thank You.
-9 I SURVIVED summer term in School and FINALS are DONE! Woot!
-10 I beat Mr. Kiki at Wii tonight and got to do the victory booty shake, which looks a lot like that very distracting dancing carrot. He's better at Baseball, but I'm fierce at bowling and tennis!
- I could sleep for a few hours in my own bed - I am grateful because it means my skin is healing. (I am a tummy sleeper) I've been sleeping in the Lazyboy.
- saw Eat, Pray,Love with my friend Sally yesterday. Fun...good movie (for girls)
- cooler weather and a lovely temperature out this morning
- my grandson will go to preschool. He's excited. Said, "I am going to playschool like Caillou"

- I survived that difficult Board meeting with Mary yesterday
- feeling very comforted by the solid support of the rest of the Board
- a letter from the Township expressing appreciation for my volunteer work
- a coolish and crisp August morning
- 10 solid hours of sleep last night after falling into bed at 9
- the scented stick thingy Ilene gifted me with last week
- some "me time" available today to use as I wish
Im blessed for the following:
- My son still likes to cuddle with Mom
- I've found in this site a place I can be a support to others AND be supported by others
- I can honestly say my sons Father is my best friend, though we aren't a 'couple' in the traditional sense, we have found the best relationship in the world that works for us both.
- Peanut butter
- Fall is coming and I can wear fashioanble, cute, warm clothes that I have always LOVED and wanted to wear.
- All the gifts I was given when I had Jack, I was able to pass along to a young mother who now doesnt have to worry about baby clothes or toys for 6-9 months. Even Jack gave one of his stuffed toys so 'another baby could have some toys', made me cry
- I have a roof over my head, food in my kitchen, clothes in my closet and a job to go to.
+ met with a friend today and was able to give her huge piles of clothes
+ cleaning lady coming today!

+ cousins from OOT that want to spend time with us
+ serenity, courage, wisdom

- I saw on facebook that when my three year old GS dropped his muffin outside, he said to his dad...'It's OK, the birds will eat it.' It's fun 'cause I always say that to the little children when they drop most food outside.

- No plans for the weekend, so nice to have a free weekend to look forward to

- Yesterday I saw on the news that we have had record heat this summer, more days over 100 degrees then ever on record. I though, "really??" I have not be miserable at all. I have always been miserable in the summer and I have been fine with the hottest summer on record? Really? I am very grateful.
- My car with 200,000+ miles just keeps going. That lets me save for the next car.
- My whole family is going to be able to attend the upcoming family reunion.
- I have a free weekend coming up!
