I think I am going to hold off on the weekly weigh-ins till this humidity passes(whenever that may be..my luck probably not till Sept/Oct..LOL) because I am retaining fluid.

I think you mis-understood me.....I won't be doing the weekly weighins here on the site....I don't go anywhere to be weighed in...I have my own weighscale. I dont' belong to anything like WW or TOPS...if I did I would still go to those.

KnC - I would urge you to reconsider. I know that I can be a huge slave to the scale, and if the numbers aren't going down (or are going up ) I tend to throw in the towel - and quickly! I post my number here every week because I know that if my numbers aren't doing what I think they should be (or if I know exactly why I had a bad weigh-in! ) I will always have support on this board. Of course, that doesn't mean that they will let me get away with too many excuses! I've also received some much-needed kicks in the hindquarters from the ladies on this board! Somehow, though, they always know when I need to be coddled and when I need to be kicked.

Weighing in when we know we gained because of humidity/salt/TOM..is a pain. But I agree, it's needed. To keep us focused. Last year when I was going through my divorce. I chose without thinking, that I didn't need to weigh in. HA! 20 lbs later here I am. I have to weigh myself nomatter what.
