Father's Day Challenge!

  • Hi all - why should the mothers get to have all the challenges? LOL

    (truthfully, Memorial Day is too soon and July 4th is too far away - Father's Day sounds like a happy medium - plus I love my daddy)

    Anyhoo, we've got about 4 weeks to challenge ourselves!!

    Here's mine:

    1) eat within my point range every week
    2) drink 3 liters of water daily
    3) one diet soda per day
    4) exercise/aerobic activity daily
    5) weight train/circuit 3x/week
    6) lose 1.0 inch around my waist to get to 28.5 inches

    Who's in???
  • Sounds good to me. I just re-joined WW (tomorrow will be my 3rd week) and I need lots of support. Your list looks like a great list of goals to work toward!

    Continue drinking alot of water
    Cutting down diet soda to once a week
    Eat within my point range
    Excercise 5 days a week

  • I would like to join also~ I have been going to meeeting but recently had to stop we are tight on money. So I am going to try it at home.

    ok..my goal..(what date is father's day anyway?)

    1) eat w/in my point range
    2) get back into my yoga..30 mins a day!!! NO EXCUSES!!!

    I am going small, easy to do...add more as my confidence in this builds...

  • I did WW before I had my baby and lost the weight, by the time I was 9 months pregnant I only weighed as much as I did when I started WW. I was really excited knowing that I had lost as much weight as it took to carry a baby and could imagine what it would've been like had I not joined WW long before I got pregnant. I still got 10 or so lbs to lose so I definately in. Sounds fun!!!

  • after reading all this I am getting up off my desk chair to go fill my water glass!! I know I need more water and I have been falling short lately.
  • Count me in! I'd like to be about 4 lbs lighter by then.

    Goals:

    1. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. (I don't like water!!!!!! So this is hard.)
    2. Increase my exercise. I'm shooting for minimum 30 minutes 5 x per wk)
    3. Stay within daily points.

  • Ooooo! Another challenge...I like challenges! Sorry I'm entering a little late...better now than never!

    SO my goals!......................19 days for my challenge...I will keep track by giving myself

    1.) Drink 8 glasses of H2O p/d= 30 Y, 31 N

    2.) Do 3-4 circuit training workouts p/w 30 Y, 31 N,

    3.) Go to my WW meetings/Stay on plan 30 N, 31 N,

    4.) Try not to eat after 8pm e/d 30 Y, 31 Y,

    5.) Lose 2.4 pounds! 1.2 p/w!

    Good for now. Once I master this I will focus on more veggies & fruit & fibre!

    Goals:
    -Stay w/in daily pts!
    -Walk 5x/wk - 4mi ea.
    -Drink at least 64oz water/day
    -Lose last 2lbs to get to goal weight!

    12 glasses water a day
    2 mi brisk walk video (30 min) 5x/wk
    100%OP (if oops back on next day)
    strength train 3x/wk
    balanced diet(fruits, vegg, whole foods)
    lose 5 lbs.so scale will read no more than 229.
