i have been doing ww at home for three months and i have been doing it ok. I know for me using this website and the fact that i want it bad enough have been sufficient. Also, a lot of prayer works too! i like doing it at home better.

i've been doing ww@home for about a month now.

what helps me is:

1. setting a weigh-in day. otherwise i would be weighing myself every five seconds. i only step on that scaled once a week, first thing friday morning.

2. if i have a not so good day i just record the food and start again the next day.

3. stocking my fridge with wholesome vegetablesa and fruits

4. coming here. reading the threads. finding support. it's wonderufl here.

5. writing in my blog. i find it really helps keeping me motivated and reminding myself why i'm doing this.

Do you have the baked Lays kinds of chips over there? that might be a way to satisfy your craving without eating reagular greasy chips. It's not the best solution, but it's a start! What is it you crave about them? If it's the crunch, find a crunchy veggie you like. If it's the salt, make something salty for yourself (a hardboiled egg with lots of salt or something). If it's the potato, just have a real potato! They're much better for you in the long run. Find out what it is you crave and that'll help you control it.

I've been doing ww at home for a month today, and am getting along great. I've never been to a meeting, but the encouragement on this site is fantastic! The recipes are good, and everyone is happy when you lose, and commiserate when you don't. good luck!

I really like the recipes too.... i made the best soup for 1 pt/cup, black bean and chicken. It's SO good. I made a huge batch to freeze. I've also gone through the muffin recipes people post, but I haven't quite made any of them yet. I could spend hours in the recipes section!!

Only weigh in once a week. DRINK alot of water. Make mini goals despite your goal at the end. Keep a food journal and write every pt down.
good luck
