New to WW
Hello,
I am new to weight watchers and excited to be here. I just joined tonight. I can't wait to start tracking tomorrow. I previously had been on South Beach and while I lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks it was horrible. I can not do low carb. It just does not work for me. I am hoping to meet some friends and accountability buddies.
Nikki

I started WW again on 4/18. I was successful on it in the past and find I'm able to stay with it.

Hi Karen
Thank you for the response. I am finding it hard to find forums that are active. So far I am down 2.5 lbs in 2 weeks.

Has anyone done the old Points Plus program and now doing the Smart Points? I am considering joining Weight Watchers again, but not sure how the points have changed.

I was on Weight Watchers long ago but never on Points Plus.Tomorrow will be my four week anniversary and so far I have lost just under 8 pounds. I'll try to be active on this forum. I am not doing meetings.

Congrats on your loss Karen.
Shwanda I heard sugary foods and unhealthy foods are now more points. The new way helps you focus on eating healthy foods. I do not have personal experience, though.
I went off program this weekend in a bad way. Friday I went on a date and planned to go over my points and eat my weekly points. Saturday I was doing an outdoor vending fair and ended up eating what was available. Yesterday I was so tired I blew it again. I am back today though.

Getting back on track as quickly as possible is the key. One or two off days isn't the end of the world.

I'm new to Smart Points today. Nice job with your 10.4. That's very encouraging to me.

Karen you are on fire!
I am a month in and 3lbs down. I have been struggling at night and on the weekends eating way over. I am aiming to get more fit points in but I know I really need to figure dinners out. I seem to spend 15-20 points on dinner which leaves me 15 for the rest of the day and I go over that then stop tracking. I am determined to make this work. I just have to get out of my own way.

Thanks, Nicole.
It is one meal at a time. A lot of times I track my dinner points ahead of time to make sure I have enough. I, too, use most of my points at night.

I am doing online only. There is support there if you want it.
I am very pleased with my progress, almost 21 pounds in three months.
