I'm baaaack......

  • I was on here a loooong time ago and I'm back. Was down as low as 113/size 2-4 (okay, it was too thin but I was running and couldn't stop--until I stopped running and then all **** broke loose!) and made my way back up here to 190. I want to get down to 123, hopefully by my 45th birthday which is next September. I wanted to skip going to WW this time, being very familiar with the program. So I'm hoping that I can turn to you all for support and accountability and be all that for you as well. I think more than anything, I'd like to boost my self-image and body image (whether I'm heavy or thin)...right now I feel disgusting, asexual and obsess about the weight all the time.)

Since I'm starting again today, here are my beginning stats for full disclosure:

    Weight: 190
    Height: 5'5"
    Dress Size: 14/16
    Bust: 43.5
    Waist: 35
    Abs: 43.5
    Butt: 44.5
    Midthight: 25.5
    Upper arm: 15.5
    Calf: 17

I'd like to also get back into daily walking, leading to some running/races (I did 9 5ks in 2001 with my best time being 37 minutes, reduced from 42 minutes!), and weightlifting.

Looking forward to speaking to y'all!

  • Welcome Dawn. Feel free to join us on the weigh-in-at-home thread.
  • Okay....Day 1, not bad. Except I couldn't really keep on program. Had to spend most of the day at the hospital (mother-in-law ill) and then was famished for dinner (Lundy's...it's seen better days). So ended up eating Triple Berry Cheerios and 1/2 cup skim milk for breakfast (about 4 pts) and then for dinner, had 4 small biscuits, some french fries and a lobster stuffed with scallops, shrimp and breadcrumbs (terrible choice). Then a few ounces of muenster cheese. I don't know how to estimate the points here, but I know I went over...luckily it was day 1...so I can make TODAY day one. Isn't it just wonderful the way we can kid ourselves. Anyway. lost 1/2 lb so I'll take that. And go forward.

First main goal date is 7/18, when I leave for California for a week of business/fun. I'd like to have at least 10lbs off by then and considering it's my first 10, I think I have a shot at it. Almost 4 weeks away.
