I am on ww at home. i used to go to meetings, but right now I do not have the time to go, so i pulled out all of my materials and said ok, here we go! I have lost 11 pounds so far. my wi today was the same. no loss no gain. i think because this was a holiday week, I had trouble keeping track of my points. or t.o.m.. so i have a question, where do you get the weight loss ticker some of you have in your sig line? about me:i need to lose 60 pounds, i will be 46 this year. and this is hard this time around.
Glad to see you found the WW At Home section Have a look around the site, you might find that you also enjoy the 40-something's area. Great job on losing those first 11 lbs. You can definitely keep at it!
The tickers are allowed after a person has been a member for 30 days, and has made 30 posts. No worries, though. If you stick around, you'll get there in no time! (Think of staying with it for 30 days as a mini-goal )
Welcome Chrissy, I am new to this posting too and so you can tell that I do not get the honors of tickers yet either. But, I am not new to WW at home and I use WW online for a great guide line. on your weight loss so far we are about the same. We both have been on WW before, same age and I need to loss 55 lbs. : I really started middle of Feb and I have lost 14 lbs about 2lbs a week. I am on the Flex program that seems to work the best for me. Also working out has been the big key for me. I try to work out everyother day And boy do I hear ya on the fact that it is very hard this time for me too. Hope to see you around 3fc maybe we can help each other in your new journey. and LET'S

Hi girls! Welcome! So glad you found us! This site is amazing! I love it!
Chrissyriss - congratulations on that loss! Wow, that is super! It is so nice to meet you. My name is Jeanne and I am 43, 2 daughters, 21 & 16, great hubby, great dog! I have lost 37# - however - between Valentines Day and Easter I have gained 6# back! urgh! I work in a candy store. Yep, where they MAKE all the chocolate you can imagine! I feel like I'm in Willy Wonka! lol!
midnightcarla - welcome welcome! You may not have a ticker yet, but you found those smilies~ Yay! Good job on your loss! So glad you found us! There are a ton of great threads here. Keep us posted on your endeavor and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better!
thanks for welcoming me.my short term goal right now is to get out of the 200 pounds mark. i feel like it is slow going. I have to take the time today to see where all of you are at weigh in wise. I weigh in on mondays. I do the at home version and subscribe to ww magazine. I am glad I am begining to get serious about losing the weight.
I'm also doing WW at home, the online version. I also am weighing on Mondays. Like you, I was unable to attend meetings regularly because of my work schedule. I just bought a WW magazine and liked it very much; am considering subsribing too. I hope at my next weigh in I will weigh 200 or maybe a tad less. It's great to have you here and your determination is helpful to us all.
I have lost weight before, and I have gained it ALL back! I had a major life setback and used emotional eating to heal my hurt. But low and behold, I added more hurt as I added the pounds. So here I am, with an overall goal to lose 108 pounds. I have been successful with the Atkins diet, but I walked away 100 pounds lighter and with high cholesterol.
Now I'm trying a healthier approach. I want to keep it off so I'm trying to do all the right things; cardio, vitamins, weight lifting, and drinking water (that one is hard for me, believe it or not).
But I am glad I found this support group. I bought the WW tools long along and never used them. I have a hectic schedule so I am going to try to do this at home, but not alone! I'm going to need all the help I can get.
I'm actually going to ww but I'm finding it hard to make it to the meetings with my crazy schedule! How do you like the on-line version? I need the accountability, so I'm scared to switch. Do you ever have to go in to ww to weigh in, or is it all on your own scale? Can you make lifetime with the on-line version?
