November Activity Log
Hi everyone,
I didn't see a thread for this so I started one. Also I'm excited because I will actually have something to report this month. I start the C25K on Tuesday. It will be my sole form of exercise this month. Next month I will add some more in but for now this will do. So the plan for the month is: 3x/wk 20-30 minutes Tues, Thurs, Saturday |
:exercise: woooosh! I just did my WW Get Fit! Workout! Well actually I only did the warm up and the first two 7 minute segments! I didn't make the 3rd one! But, that is more exercise than I did all week last week! :o
I really wish I had the Get Moving and Get Started ones! Well, I was just posting my activity for today. I may still get a walk in later! Drinking my water today too! Have a great Sunday! |
I see we are off to a good start for this month. We went to a Seafood Festival yesterday and I walked so much my calves are actually hurting today. I wish I had some Ben-Gay....lol. Sammy Kershaw was the entertainment and he was actually very good, we had a good time. I will see you back here tomorrow.

Here's Mine So Far this month
November 1: treadmill, upper and lower body weights
November 2: treadmill, other-includes all forms of housework---started fall housecleaning---getting ready for the holidays and putting up the tree November 3: painted in the kitchen for several hours (pooped) November 4: semi-rested ----put things back in cupboards after paint dried November 5: continued fall housecleaning to be continued:carrot: |
1.5 brisk mile walk last night! It is chilly outside but felt soooooo good!

I completed Week 1, Day 1 of the C25K program. It felt pretty good. I'm on my way (okay I used to be a big Motley Crue fan in the 80's so when I say I'm on my way I think of the song "Home Sweet Home") to being a runner. I'm excited about that.

I walked the last two afternoons and did weights on Monday and today.

I just did not feel like excercising this week. I know PMS is rearing her ugly head my way. The only thing I want to do this week is just sleep, eat, and watch t.v. :( Hopefully, next week I will gained my energy back, and then I will be back to normal :)

Did my Get Fit Video. Got a little further today. WI was today. No changes to report!:( TOM is expected tomorrow.:shrug: As discouraging as my WI's have been, I am greatful to have maintained. I have never been able to do that either.

so far so good!
Been on the eliptical three times in the past week for thirty minutes each time. So far that's 90 minutes for the month! Also walking everyday with the dogs or to class. I'm going try to squeeze in some toning and strength training too.

Today I decided no matter how I felt, I am going to excercise. So, I excerice to Disco Sweat with Richard Simmons. By the way, Does anybody know what happened to Richard Simmons?

Synergy--I know he's still out there but maybe just not as popular or maybe we don't run in those circles.
I completed Week 1, Day 2 of C25K. So far so good. I feel I will be ready to move on to Week 2 next week. |
Hey Snergy - that reminds me........I have his 30 minute blast off or something like that! I LOVED it! I think I am going to dig it out and use it. Tomorrow!!!!!! Today is the first day of TOM - No mood or modivation today!

Hey Kids,
Was feeling loads better, so back in the pool this morning. Now I feel all cold sweaty and feverish again. Wish this whatever it is would kick! It did feel good to move and get the heart rate up, though. Maybe I'll burn it out. |
Dug my old Richard Simmons 20 minute Blast Off workout out and did it this morning! I just love him!:D Thanks Synergy!

Week 2, Day 2 of C25K done! Jeanne somehow I knew you would dig out your Richard Simmons. I'm not a dancer so I've never been into him. I'm a no nonense straight exercise type of girl.

I've been doing great so far! Managed to keep on track and have been on the eliptical three times a week so far. I can feel that my knees are adjusting-I think its time to get some new knee braces and see the doctor just to make sure its nothing serious. Other than that its been great! I'm gonna have to check out those Richard Simmons dvd's-you guys make it sound fun!

Wk 2, Day 3 of C25K was my roughest so far. Not because it was difficult just that as soon as I got on the treadmill my head started hurting. A few minutes in my right foot started hurting from my previous injury. Then, yes there's more, my left knee started hurting. I was like WTF??? But I was also like whatever. I am not getting off this treadmill. This is the end of Wk 2 and I am completing it today. I started counting down the running intervals, 1 down 5 more to go, 2 down, half way there, only 2 to go....last one. During the last one I felt better. Off to Week 3 on Tuesday.

I AM GOING TO LOOSE AT LEAST 1.5# THIS WEEK! Woooosh, I just had to say it! Now, maybe I'll see it! The last 6 weeks I hadn't gone into the week saying "I want to loose______"!!!! So, maybe, just maybe, that will help!:dizzy:

PS - you guys are probably thinking "shes crazy, it's Thanksgiving week"! lol, I have to agree! Oh well, gotta start some where! And, WI is Thursday a.m. (let me STRESS a.m.)

Jeanne--I don't think you're crazy bc I want to lose at least 1 pound this week. I'm right with you.

I had good intentions for today, but mother nature has decided otherwise. The rain has set in and the temperature will drop 30 degrees by evening so today is a loss, but I will walk tomorrow, the rain should be out of here by tonight.....fingers crossed. Good luck to all of you this week:)

11/8-55 minutes walk 11/9-55 minute walk 11/10-30 minute walk 11/11- 45 min walk 11/12-45 min walk 11/13-mini soccer game, kite flying 1 hour 4 day break, heavy t.o.m. 11/17-75 min walk 11/18-30 min walk 11/19-45 min walk 11/20-60 minute walk 11/21-60 min walk 11/22-120 min walk 11/23-60 min walk 11/24-60 min walk 11/25-60 min walk And today the 26th-60+ min walk |
2.5+ hours of walking done yesterday. 2 of them were moderate/high pace. :)

Week 4 of C25K, Day 1 completed yesterday. Whew it was a challenge.

Walked 30 minutes + floor excersices.

90 minutes of official walking yesterday. More unofficial as I went to Lowes, the park, Walmart, grocery store, walked to the school etc.

WK4D2 of C25K completed. Again it was a challenge but I did it.

Yesterday was a day off of sorts. I ended up playing 32 holes of mini golf instead. :)

WK4D3 of C25K completed. I'm so happy this week is completed.

Last day of Novemeber, 1 hour of walking. {I will add today's { Decembers }tomorrow when there is a new thread started}
