Default Weigh in at home, 10/22 - 10/28

Good morning!

I had a pretty good day yesterday. I tracked 13,000+ steps on my pedometer and had another pretty good night snacking wise. It wasn't snack-free but that's OK. It was planned and I really felt in control - a nice feeling. I have yoga class after work today which is always good for some sweat as well as "getting me out of the day". My new schedule starts tomorrow and I'm looking forward to (trying to) sleep until about 6:30!

Have a great day!

Hi Judy

Congrats on the loss! And on staying off the scale the day after Chinese takeout. And on shutting down the kitchen and having only planned snacks. You're doing great! I'm glad you were able to work out a better schedule. I'm with you in that I would prefer to end earlier in the afternoon rather than start later in the day, but it sounds like you'll put the time to good use.

John and I did go out to eat on Friday night. We went to an Irish pub a couple of towns over because we knew they had music on Friday nights. However, the band didn't start until about 10, so we only heard a couple of songs. I was just too tired to stand around to hear music. I was at work, for the new program, on Tuesday night, as an attendee on Wednesday night, and back to work on Friday night, including helping out with a classroom of very high-energy 4 and 5 year olds. So I was beat. And it was back to work on Saturday morning, plus back tonight and Wednesday night. I'm getting to the point where I'm too tired to eat. But I have some leftover lower fat pasta salad and cole slaw for my lunch today, so it's all good.

Have a great day.

Bigkitten - congratulations on a great loss! Sometimes our bodies seem to store up all the good things we do and give us the loss on the scale all at once so good for you for not getting discouraged!

Carla - Whoa! Just reading about your week last week made me tired! I'm sorry to hear that you have to work tonight and Wednesday too. Is this a short-term requirement because of the new program? I'm with you on not waiting around on Friday. By Friday at 10:00, I'm thinking about getting ready for bed! Good for you for having a good low point lunch handy.

I have yoga class tonight and my new schedule starts tomorrow. I think it's going to take a little time to get used to this schedule. I also want to figure out the best time for me to do some planning during the week so I have less to do on the weekends. Up until now, I used those unpaid blocks during the day. I'm not sure what kind of activity I'm going to do in the morning - maybe just walking on the treadmill while I watch the morning news.

Hi all

Bigkitten - Congratulations on a terrific loss!

Judy - My crazy schedule is indeed because of the launch of the new program. The program runs about every six weeks, so I'll have some downtime in between. I hope today goes well with your new schedule.

Not much new here. I don't have to work tonight and I'm looking forward to relaxing at home.

Have a great day.

Carla - I hope you enjoyed a relaxing evening yesterday. Is it a new program every 6 weeks? If not, then hopefully the second "run" won't require as much of you.

My new schedule started yesterday and it wasn't bad. I did the 15 minute "Body Electric" strength workout (from TV) yesterday morning and walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes before work. This morning I did "Body Electric" and some yoga, with more yoga to come (class after work.) I'm certainly fine with getting up about 45 minutes later than usual. I don't know if it was from the change, but I had an *awfu'* snacky evening last night. I mean, I would have eaten the counter if it wasn't attached! I counted and journalled the points though and since I only have 8 flexpoints left for the week, I've decided that there are no more flexpoints left for me this nweek to use. I will have to stick with my 20 points (and maybe use a couple of activity points.) In this way, I hope to salvage the week.

Have a great one!
