Greetings Girlies

I have been MIA for the past week or so, just can't seem to get back with it. But today is a new day and I am back OP. My walking shoes are in the washer as we speak, I really need to get back walking and focusing on me. Thanks to those who missed me

Dale Junior Fan--I think we all go on hiatus at some pt. Life happens.

I think I will post a 1-2 lb loss. We shall see. I will weigh in about 6am tomorrow morning. I was doing so well with water and I'm starting to struggle again with it. I will continue to work on it. Exercise is still nonexistent. One moment at a time. When I get to 224 and to 26pts I think I will start the "WENDIE" plan. I think staggering my points will help. Sometimes I feel like I'm starving. I still need to work on spending my pts better I'm sure that will help also.

Glad to have you back Daph!

I weighed in yesterday and was down 1.5 for the week. It's not really a loss since I gained 1.5 the week before, but this morning when I got on the scale I was down another .5, so I'm not going to beat myself up over it. My BF said this weekend, "You feel littler", so I'm taking his assessment as a good thing and motivation to keep going.

Hope that everyone is doing well.

So how about a 10(8) week challenge? I started 9/10 which is 10 weeks to Turkey Day. So going back to that week and counting it as being On Plan it would be 10-20 lbs lost (1-2 lbs/week). Plus that week is my 10% Goal Week.
I went way over points this weekend but I love how each day on the points tracker starts over fresh. Forget Yesterday! Today is a New Day.

Thank you thank you for the warm welcome. You all sound like a fun and encouraging group. I'm reading everyone's posts and trying to keep names straight! It was a great weekend at my house. It feels like I FINALLY have the right mind set to take this extra weight off. The 8 week challenge sounds great. My son and almost daughter in law are coming for Thanksgiving so maybe I can surprise them with 10 more pounds off.

Morning Girlies!!! Wow.................WELCOME ALL YOU NEW LOSERS!!! I am trying to read and catch up on all the new entries since I visited on Friday!!!! I AM SOOOOOOO LOST without my pc and being able to keep up with you guys~! We will be up and running at home on 9/28 - we are going with digitial and our new internet server won't be able to get to us until 9/28 because they hook it up from your house cable! We are currently using AOL but since we just had the pc taken back to factory (like brand new) we didn't want to reload AOL. Anyways.............................

I didn't weigh in today. I'll do that tom. morning and let you know Weds. I was HUNGRY all weekend!
My bi-opsy (ms) came back! NO PROBLEMS!!!!!! Frankly girls, I have been very nervous waiting for those results. I still am not feeling really good, but I think that the continued weightloss is helping my mood!
Yesterday I went shopping and got all new undies and bra's! Mine were just too big!
Well I just got to work and couldn't wait to see how you all were! So I better scoot and see how things are here!

HI ladies. Welcome all the newcomers!! Today I am back OP. I have been off for a couple of weeks now but I am going to control this now before I get any farther from my goal. It is going to be hard since I made pumpkin cookies yesterday for the kids. and there is left over birthday cake from saturday. I wanted to take a walk this morning but the weather is not holding out for me, it is raining.

Daph- I am glad to see your back!

Jar- I hope you get everything up and running soon, I know what it is like to be without a pc for a period of time. You feel like you are cut off from the world.

Mom2- congrats on your loss.

Thanks everyone for all of the well wishes. My son goes to the specialist on Oct 5. We will see then if he has a serious condition or if it is nothing to worry about. I feel so helpless. There is nothing I can do but wait.

Good morning ladies!!! Welcome to the newbies!

I am back from my weekend trip to Little Rock to meet some of DH family that I hadn't met yet. I met 2 aunts and an uncle. Let me tell you how much of a relief it is to FINALLY have some in-laws that are not psychotic, greedy, or catty! We all had so much fun and I hadn't laughed so much in many years! DH aunt Vonda had made (get ready for this all my ladies who talked about dessers last week).... Chocolate Pie, Brownines and PECAN PIE!!!! So... I think I did really well. I had a small sliver of each, which probably equaled to one "regular" slice. They were all SO good though. So, I didn't know what to expect from weigh-in today. I was SOOO happy when I got on the scale and saw 215 again! : So, I lose the 2 pounds that I gained last week. I'm back in the running for my Halloween Goal. It may be a bit of a stretch now, but I'm going to go at it full force!!
Aunt Vonda and Uncle Bob invited us to come back Thanksgiving! I think we might go. I'm half estranged from my brothers and their wives, so a forced Thanksgiving with them would be rather uncomfortable for me. DH's immediate famiy is the psycho end. SO.... I think it'd be a nice change of pace to have a nice, relaxed, fun, FAMILY, Holiday!

Today (actually in an hour and a half), DH has a court date (when it's all over I will explain in detail), but in short, a lady accused him of rape all the way back in January! DH didn't do it (there's actual, factual proof of that.....including witnesses, etc.) - but we find out today if the judge wants to send it to trial or not. So, please keep us in your prayers....

I'll write more later and catch up with everyone sometime today after the court date

Looks like everyone is off to a good start this week, including me. I hope the rest of us will have a loss too, fingers crossed. I am off for now, junior is ready for his walk.

Hello Ladies!!! Its a new week...and I am oh so ready to begin it. Last night we went to chili's for my (early) b-day celebration. And I threw the "points" theme out the window. I had about a million cups of mango tea, and chicken fajitas, not to mention the "awesome blossom" which I read, for the whole thing is like 45 point or something!!!! OMG. Then we went to the movies and I snuck some cream cookies in my purse. wholly mowly! I was afraid to step on the scale this morning, but to my surprise, im down a pound....ehhh..ill take it.

Im also PMSsing, which I never even noticed.

And...today....I hit my 10lb mark since starting WW a little over a month ago. Ive heard after the first few weeks of losing a lot, it slows down. Needless to say after the first TWO weeks of losing 3-4lbs, I started to yo-yo.

Congrats to all the losers this week!!! Its so refreshing to see that progress is being made!

And im sure we are all ready to start a new week and get back OP!!

Have a great week staying OP ladies!!

Congrats to the losers! I'm down 3 lbs this week. Thank goodness because I thought I would be only down 1. I'm with LondonJulz about achieving my Halloween goal. I'll have to dig in but I think I can do it!

I did really well yesterday, so I hope that this week I can make up for my kinda bad weekend and I can see another loss this week. I walked my 3 miles and hit the gym.. and this trying to keep a 15 minute mile is really hard. I have been walking 3-4 miles for the past year and finally decide, I had to pick up the pace and average a 15 min mile and OMG is my body is feeling it. Congrats to everyone on their loss and it is a new week and everyday is a new day, we all fall from time to time, just gotta pick ourselves up with the next meal! Im in for the Turkey Day Challenge!! I will figure out my goal sometime during this hectic day and make a new tracker. I hope everyone has a great day today!

So far so good. I had this girls party at my house last night and made all this super yummy food. Guess what!? I didn't eat any of it because: nothing tastes as good as thin feels! I actually was so busy talking and making sure everyone else was having a good time that I didn't "give" myself a chance to eat. I'd look over and the chocolate cookie or pound cake and say "YOU KNOW that's not going to look good on your hips". I am so proud of myself because usually I would have been all over the food. I also didn't drink, that's where I lose most of my points because I love the sweet wines.

So onto my challenge:
This week I want to incorporate these things into my routine and make them habit:
1. drink half my weight in oz ~100 oz (H2O + crystal light packet, yummy)
2. Take my vitamin every night
3. Be in bed by 10 with the tv OFF
4. Walk 60 min every day
