Actually... I got some at the grocery store today! (These ones) I've found them at 3 local grocery stores, but I would assume the chains have them too!

The Strawberry Banana is pretty good!

Thumbs up Weight Watcher Smoothies

If you have a Weight Watchers center near you, you can buy the powdered form of the smoothis mix there. I think it has 6 packages in it for around $6.00. They have a great choclate flavor. You mix 1 cup skim milk and the mix together. One smoothie counts as 3 points and ALL of your calcium for the day.

I add ice and wheat germ for extra fiber! They are great!!!!

I haven't tried them yet, I'll look for them the next time I'm in the city.

I bought the WW chocolate smoothie mix and its really is disgusting tasting. Just use chocolate sf/ff pudding and add some skim milk and some plain yogurt maybe and make your own. There are tons of smoothie recipes online..don't waste your money on WW, yuck..

Default Fruit Smoothie

My husband I are on WW and make a fruit smoothie every night, it has about 3 servings of fruit in it and helps you get in your 5 a day for fruits and veggies.

This is how we make it but you can play with it and make it your way if you want to:
For each serving we use:
1 banana
1 serving pineapple
1 cup light orange juice (Tropicana makes a light 1/2 sugar OJ)
2-3 packets of spenda
1/2 a tray of ice cubes

put your fruit, spenda and juice in a blender and blend until smooth, then add the ice and blend again until smooth. Pour it into a tall glass, add a straw and enjoy. We sometimes throw in just a really small spoon full (maybe a tablespoon) of FF plain yogurt.

Points for the fruit smoothie: we count it as 4 points and it is a wonderful end for the day but would be really good for breakfast or a mid day snack.

The mixes are available at the centers but the grocery stores now have WWsmoothies and yogurts which are one point each. I have not tried them yet but have seen them next to the other yogurts.

I'd like to know how the WW pre-packaged smoothies compare with the mix. I like the mix but it would be so much more convenient to buy the others. If anyone can tell me the pros/cons, I'd appreciate it!
