Default What's your favorite place to eat out?

I was wondering, what is yall's favorite place to eat out? I love Applebee's of course. But I eat there every single weekend. Besides there, what place gives you the best meal for your points? Or is that really your only option? I know of all the websites to find point values for resaurants but Applebee's seems to be the only one where you can get a real meal that will fill you up. What are your suggestions?

This may sound weird, but I like going to Mexican Restaurants because
1) I order warm corn tortillas in place of chips
2) I order a bowl of Tortilla Soup and a side salad as a meal (I LOVE soup)

Abuelo's is my favorite to get the above combo

Subway is a good one...but not if you are doing CORE...

Wendy's is good - get a regular hamburger (or Junior hamburger) and a small chili and it's like a 8-point meal...

Outback Steakhouse is great - I get the Outback Special (sirloin), immediately cut it in half and put it on DH's plate. I order steamed veggies and salad with ranch on the side as my side dishes. I keep the bread on DH's side of the table...

Chinese food (PF Changs) is great b/c they offer brown rice and veggie dishes...

My new favorite are Japanese restaurants with Sushi
Mongolian Grills are great b/c you can load up on veggies and control the amount of oil in your sauce

IHOP makes some good oatmeal (believe it or not) - it's about 2-3 points and I put in a little of their brown sugar and butter for an extra point or two...

Chili's makes some good grilled chicken dishes...

Baker's Brothers Delis make excellent soups and salads (did I mention I LOVE soup???)

Hope this helps - I'm anxious to see what everyone else says

I love to go to any restaurant and by planning and carefully order and insisting on 'having it my way' I have always been able to eat out successfully and leave feeling full and satisified.

I'm not a big pasta eater (I think Ragu is great sauce LOL) so Italian is where I least go.

I love steak houses (request a sirloin grilled without the butter they put on them and eat 1/2 of it -- take the rest home) with a plain baked potato (butter, s/c on side), steamed veggies (again no oil or butter), side salad with dressing on the side.

I love Mexican and it depends on what I am in the mood for.

Chinese same thing depends on the mood.

I worked at an IHOP so I know their oatmeal is of the prepackaged, instant variety. Just add water! Not that it's bad, but I wouldn't exactly credit them with 'making' good oatmeal.

Good oatmeal in my mind means it is not like soup

The thicker the better, IMO

I love mexician - when I got I usually get fatijis - chicken of course with the grilled veggies - Iusually slurge on refried beans and some rice - but I only eat a little

Applebee is also good with their WW meals - but I wasn't real full when I left

WENDYS - my all time favorite - Chili - low points - Taco Salad without the dressing or chips - and I pick off the cheese. I have also got the side salad and a small chili and make a mini taco salad (much cheaper than the regular taco salad also) I eat the Chili at least 3 times a week and I think it has been helping my weight loss (get that fiber also) I put the Hot sauce in it and gives it a little spice
