How About Muffins
I have had probably a little over a Quarter of a Muffin. (blueberry)
they werent real large muffins either. Medium sized. They were from a place called the corner bakery ... I am gonna say 7 Points ... because Muffins are very very High in points at least some of the ones I seen on Calorie King. Anyways I can't find any info on these muffins what do you guys think. 7 points ???? HELP .... |
Well it depends really
The muffins from Costco and Sam's club are 12-16 points for the entire muffin. You can compare with some of the places I've listed before that have a nutritional database: There is one here at 3FatChicks, CalorieKing (which allows you to change weights and readjusts info thus making points easy to compute), using a similar one from someplace that gives the nutritional information (utilizing Diet Facts, or one of the restaurant sites from either her or Dotti's or ***************). Since I don't know the size of the muffin, type of the muffin (and no one really can tell you that because unless they live near you and know) I can't help you but to provide the locations of places to help you try to find a close estimate. |
Try the WW blueberry muffins. Yummy and only 3 points! I suggest eating them with a fork though, they are rather "sticky".
|
Also, most of the muffin mixes you buy are 3 to 4 points.

I love the just-add-water muffin mix because it tells you what the nutritional information is in wet sizes - so 1/4 cup of muffin batter is 3 pts for example, so you know to make the muffins only 1/4 c. That rocks my socks off.
(slightly off topic, sorry! I wish I could help with your dilema) |
Sarah, what brand are those? I've never seen ones like that
