Does anyone know how many calories are in 8 oz of wine??

My calorie book says dry wine is 25 cal/oz. So, 4 points.

Wine is 2 points for every 4 ounces. Red, white, rose, white zinfandel, champagne, merlot, chardonnay, chablis... 2 points for 4 ounces.

Sweet wines (sauternes, other dessert wines, fortified wines, sherry, etc.) are higher. I assume you are NOT asking about those?

Try http://www.calorieking.com. They have a pretty good database of foods which breaks down nutritional information, and you can scale it to how much wine you are drinking.
