Talking

All the Chicago area Walgreens stores are phasing in the Bakers Breakfast Cookies - for all you people looking for a retail outlet rather than ordering off the web. Some of the Osco stores are starting to carry them too.

Don't know if Walgreens is planning to carry them in all their stores or not, but you may want to ask your local store manager - if one store has them chances are they can all order them! Look for them in a basket by the Camera department or by the front registers - that's where I've been finding them. They were on sale 2/$3.00. Don't have all the varieties, but did have the Double Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Fruit & Nut, Peanut Butter the day I was there.

Walgreens has the cookies in one of the stores here in Madison, Wisconsin, too. They started carrying them several weeks ago. They are selling them for $1.49 each.

Heard from a friend that Bakers cookies are now at Walgreen's stores in Phoenix. I don't buy them anymore since I don't like the new recipe, but if anyone is interested in Arizona, at least you can now buy them locally.

I never cared for Walgreens and don' t go there. But now you sparked my interest. I sure as heck hope they have them in Michigan. I never did like the hassel of ordering them and waiting forever for the UPS guy - not to mention having to order no less than a dozen and not being able to mix the flavors. Walgreens would be perfect.

By the way. I in what section of the store? Are they keeping them in the freezer like their suppose to?

My Walgreens stopped carrying them. They started to have them about 3 months ago, but maybe 3-4 weeks ago they stopped. I don't think they sold as many as they would have liked.

When I've bought the cookies at Walgreens, they have been in a small wicker basket at the front checkouts - someone else mentioned seeing them at the camera counter.

Most of the cookies I believe are 4-5 points - check out their website at www.bakersbreakfastcookie.com

I think now that they changed their recipe (in March), the cookies are between 4.5 and 6 points each, depending on the flavor. I still like them even tho the points went up!
