Can someone tell me the difference between moderate and heavy workouts for the purpose of calculating point burners. I'm not sure if I have the terminology right but hopefully you get the idea.

moderate vs. high exercise

Good question! I don't really understand it, myself, because everyone's idea of what's moderate vs. hard is different.

WW says high makes you really sweat (running, competitive swimming, etc.), and moderate includes things like walking really quickly, biking, etc (makes you sweat, but not a great deal).

My advice is when in doubt, underestimate rather than overestimate your activity level... This is better for your weight loss in the long run.

Anyone have a better understanding than us of what activities fit into each activity level?

thanks

Your advice sounds excellent to me. Thanks. There is the wish to over estimate but I know ultimately I should tow the line. I am trying to bank the points anyway, but there is this weird, illogical desire to see higher numbers. The weight will melt when it does I suppose. In the meantime. I am exercising at a moderate level. Thanks for the help.

exercise

No problem! Yeah, exercise will make a big difference... Just give it time.

Good luck with your weight loss!
