Default Veggies ??

Its been so long that I have tried WW but I have a question for you all.

Are veggies free or are they counted as points?

I'm sure the starchy ones are counted, such as corn, beans, peas, taters, etc.

Is there a list of whats counted and whats not?

Thank you!

any starchy veggie has points...corn, peas, potatoes

Green beans are freebies but legumes/beans are protein (usually counted as such).

Also 1 cup cooked carrots are 1 point and 1 cup of onions are 1 point.

Hey Leenie!

Are you giving WW a try? I couldn't do LC. My chol went too high and my doc was just much happier with me going with WW because it's time proven. I'm still adjusting. Doing ok, but not good. But I've had much stress(family wise, me and dh ok though, Thank you Lord) It does make life easier and I don't feel so obsessed with food. Need to stock up on vegies and make some point free soup, I think that would help. Bet we could use up points pretty quickly at the Cheesecake Factory

Hey Donna,

Currently I am doing my own thing, which I stink at LOL !!! I was just wondering if I should count my veggies or not. Of course the obvious ones like peas, potatoes, carrots, beans, etc..... I know I need to count, I was just wondering like, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant (not parm lol), green beans, stuff like that.

Its the same old same old. We know what we have to do, we know how to do it, its just doing it thats the problem. Been on 1000000 diets, up down up down up down. And now I'm just trying to find a good stable one, one I can live with and not have to worry about. Meaning I really don't want to have to worry about eating a can of green beans because its got to many carbs or this or that. I'm trying to base my meals around veggies, as much as possible because I am a volume eater!!! I have a big appetite and if I don't feel full, I'm gonna keep looking for food until I do. Sad, I know. I struggle with this forever. And no matter what plan I follow I just can't survive on a cup of food. Shrink the stomach you say....if I could I would. I would do good for 1 - 2 days and by the third day I go crazy w/hunger. Then I binge.

Does this make sense ? Prob not to alot of people but its how I am. The more I try to change it, the fatter I get.

Donna, I'm glad WW is working for you !! good deal

Cheesecake factory - 0 points DON'T I WISH !!!!!

Hugs
