Brummel & Brown Spread??

  • Can anyone help? I looked at this at the store and wrote down info, but when I got home it calculated out to 1 pt per tablespoon. Is that correct or did I write the numbers wrong? Thanks

  • Give me the info and I'll do it for you -- but it does sound right. (it's a light spread, yes?) Regular butter and margarine are all 3 points per tbs. 1 pt for brumbrown sounds correct. (I always take my points calculator with me to the store so I don't have to write anything down, really....) Get an extra one in your meeting room and keep it w/ your coupon envelope; keep the other in your purse...!!
  • Hi, no you're not wrong. It does compute to 1 point per Tablespoon! Isn't that nice?

I've been buying it for several years now, really think it's the nicest tasting margarine I've ever used. Have you tried the Brummel and Brown Fruit Spread? It too is so tasty on a piece of toast, or English muffin or bagel. I don't have any right now, but if my memory serves me correctly, it computes to 1 point per 2 teaspoons. A little less to use, but oh so good.

  • Thank you, imaleader, and ellie! 1 tablespoon of margarine is ALOT of margarine, what a deal! and I like the idea of keeping the calculator handy at the store (how did you know about my coupon envie?!!LOL)
I will also look for the fruit spread--sounds yummy!
