Default Make me a grocery list!!

I'm going grocery shopping tonight and have a blank list. Bf and I aren't home a lot, we usually get one good meal a week. The rest of the week it's something frozen we throw in the oven. I love the lean cuisine pizzas and might pick a few of those up but other than that my list is empty!! I really don't like many veggies which is a problem. I love chicken and fish and prefer not eating beef. So, can you help this picky eater?

Forgot to mention I'm anemic and need help getting my iron in!

If you're anemic you should eat some dark green, like spinach or borcoli if you like either of those because they have iron in them. I know how it is to be a picky eatter... I don't like anything...but I do like brocoli when it has cheese on it! LOL

Good luck!

Well, the first thing I think is that you should make a standing list of the veggies/fruit you DO like and, of course, always have them on hand. I can't imagine how hard WW is to do without liking veggies. Even at lunch at work, I add a cup of frozen broccoli to most of the frozen meals I bring.

Hey, what about those Lean Cuisine Skillet Sensations? You throw it all into one pan and heat up. The whole bag is either 10 or 11 points and serves two. Here's other suggestions:

(1) Trader Joe's Basmati Rice medley (3 points/cup) with grilled chicken and grilled pineapple or other veg
(2) Chicken/Turkey chili - this is a VERY easy way to sneak veggies into your meal without noticing them. I dice up carrots, celery, peppers and onions, and throw them in a pot with ground chicken or turkey and then add black/kidney beans and either a chili flavor packet or chili powder/cumin.
(3) Other ways to sneak in veggies you won't notice - add diced zucchini, spinach leaves, diced carrots to any bottled spaghetti sauce. Add Veg-T-Balls vegetarian meatballs (they're really good and you get 3 for 1 point!) and garlic bread (yum!)

Geez, there's a million ways for this. If you're not getting in your veggies, at least be sure to take a multivitamin. Hope this is a little help.
