Just wondering if anyone could recommend some cold cereals that are low in points but high in fibre/protein. I know many of you will say Kashi but I've almost the entire range and I'm soooooooo bored with it, need to change it up. Keep in mind I am in Canada, so maybe some fellow Canucks can suggest something?? Or maybe anyone knows of a great global brand sold everywhere??
I go for 1/3 cup regular Fibre One, jazzed up with a Tablespoon of ground flax plus 1/2 cup of blueberries. That's a total of 149 calories - 33 grams carbs with 11 grams of fibre and 10 grams of protein. Sorry I don't know the points but it's gotta be good for you.
Keloggs Fibre Plus in Summer Berry flavour ( you can tell by the way that I spelled that, that I am Canadian ) 1 1/4 cups is a serving with 220 calories, 10 g fibre, 5 g protein. I love the Kashi Honey/Almond/Flax too - but you said that you had tried all of the Kashi cereals.
