The Wisconsin State Fair starts in a couple of weeks and they are FAMOUS for their cream puffs. I just love their cream puffs and, while as much as I would love to buy a 6-pack of cream puffs to take home, I don't intend to go "overboard" on the cream puffs, but I would like to treat myself to one.
Does anyone have any idea how many points are in a cream puff?
I'm from Madison myself, and keep hearing about the world famous cream puffs. Thankfully, I have plans to go north this weekend to avoid the madness. I calculated the information from a recipe for "Wisconsin State Fair cream puffs" that I got from a local news site. It looks like they are 6 points a piece (mostly from all that wonderful whipped cream).
Thanks, Erin! I appreciate you figuring it out. The cream puffs are really yummy, and I've been budgeting my points all week and doing extra exercise so I'd be able to work one into my points. We're going today...... Mmmmmmmmmm...... can't wait!
I used to work at the WI State Fair.... can you say LOTS of free food and cream puffs. YIKES, but loved it. Wish I was still there!! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My WW leader told me that a State Fair cream puff is only 5 points, so I worked it into my points last Saturday and had one. Talk about 5 points of sheer bliss!! It was so-o-o-o-o-o good!!!
Now my husband wants to go back to the fair tomorrow night, so I'm trying to do some creative points juggling, and lots of exercising, so I can work in another cream puff. Yummmmmmmmm.
