Default how do you calculate the points in something with bones in it?

we are having cornish hen tonight. Its 22oz for one of them. However I know all of this is not meat being theres bone in it. is there a way to find out just how much meat is in the hen so i can calculate my points? It says for 4oz serving 200 calories. Any hel,p would be appreciated. TY

Do you have a kitchen scale? It could help if you remove your portion before the meal, so you can weigh it.

I actually got mine from the dollar store, and tested it with foods that had the weight on the package. Works perfectly! Walmart, Kmart, Target probably have them too.

If you use an online calorie calculator (like Calorie King, the daily plate...), you probably can find the calories in a whole cornish hen based on the weight with the bones.

Target has a few good digital food scales:

I have this one and really like it:

You can actually find out the "exact" calories/fat/fiber in an item if you enter code into the scale before you weigh it. For example, say the code for a banana is 100. Enter 100 and then weight the banana. If the banana weighs 6 ounces (or 168 grams), the actual nutrition for that weight will be displayed - then you can use your POINTS finder/calculator to figure out the points. (BTW, it looks like it is metal, but it's just a silver plastic.)
