According to the slider, it should be 0. That just feels like too little since it is bread.

I used the WW online tools and got 1 point.

See, this is the issue with WW for me...I ate within what would be my "points" before and I kept gaining, because a whole foods vegan diet is naturally low in points but I couldn't lose efficiently like that.

I would LOVE to have Ezekiel bread again.

SoulBliss - Yes, it's true... WW doesn't work for everyone. I truly wish it did, but I'm a bit biased!

Sounds like me too!!! If I allow myself many grains (even healthy carbs like brown rice, oatmeal, and whole grain breads) - and staying with the allotted # of points per day, I could not lose.

I saw a part of the "slide" triangle and got confused. It figures that it would be something silly like that. It's my first day on WW, so hopefully that won't happen again.

Faerie, WW is the ONLY commercial plan that I am in support of (from the major ones I know of) because it is so reasonable, flexible, healthy and sound.

I wish it did work for me, because I miss eating like a "normal" vegan!

Cheree, I had to cut out ALL grains and non vegetable (low carb) starches. I actually don't eat beans either (except soybeans). It's the only way I have been able to get the weight off!

I'm also a fan of the Weight Watcher's program!!! I've been going to Weight Watchers at least (off and on) 25 years (I really was at goal weight, one time!!). I think I first started going in the early to mid 1980's (back in the days of "canned tuna is your friend" and eat liver once a week...bleh).

SoulBliss - ack!!! about not being able to eat all grains, non vegetable (low carb) starches, and beans. I was just getting ready to start eating more beans since I'm going lacto ovo vegetarian to start out with...DRAT!

What's some of the "non vegetable (low carb) starches" on your list?

We may have similar body metabolisms, so it sounds like I might want to go easy with the beans (I was going to aim for 1 cup a day, but now I may just try 1/2 cup or less a day and see if that stalls my weight loss further). I just can't seem to lose weight if I eat ANY breads, cereal, pasta's, etc.

Are you able to eat some nuts OK? (Like a few walnuts and/or almonds every day?) I'm trying to be sure to get in plenty of protein because I need to increase my muscle mass so I'll have some sort of viable metabolism that will help me burn calories and keep the weight off as I'm losing it.
