My family loves Pozole, a Mexican stew made from dried hominy, chiles and pork (0r chicken thigh).
The traditional way is with dried hominy, but the dried hominy I get doesn't have any nutritional labeling. I buy it over the internet, since I now live in Georgia, and dried hominy is unavailable here. The USDA food database thinks all hominy is canned! Canned hominy is a poor substitute for dried in this dish.
If one of you Western Chicks (or anyone else who knows) could post points for dried hominy (in it's uncooked state) I'd appreciate it.
