Points for Restaurant Meals

  • Hi All,

Is there somewhere on this forum that lists points for meals at various restaurants? If so, I would love to see it. We eat out a lot and it would be handy to have a reference. Thanks!
  • I'm new here so I'm not sure, but a good source is dwlz.com. Click on restaurants and scroll down. There is a pretty big list there.
  • Thanks so much!
  • Dotti's may or may not be correct.

However many of the restuarnts and fast food places as well as conveninence stores have nutritional information listed.

There is also a link from the home page for nutritional information on this website.

You can also use sites like Calorie King and Diet Facts.
  • I'm new here too, I went to Fridays with my husband on Sunday and we had fried green beans how many points do you think that was?
  • I tried to google "fried green bean nutritional information" and didn't come up with much. I would probably equate it to maybe fried zucchini or onion rings.
  • Wow I went to that website dwlz.com and its awesome! I dont know how she did all that buts its exactly what Ive been looking for. I was always having to guess and compare, this is GREAt!
  • Please be advised that Dotti's is an individually maintained site and sometimes the points can be wrong or guestimated wrong. For instances Outback doesn't provide nutritional information and those are at a best guess near what the points are. However the site will get you in the general area for points most of the time.
  • Personally I don't care how many points they were, I just know how yummy they were. I wouldn't eat them all the time thats for sure. Those Fiber One bars are great!
  • Here are some handy tools for the site for you newbies and anyone else who is interested.

(includes links to front page features - restaurant info, nutritional values for foods etc.)

Good luck with your weight loss journeys!
  • Deep fried green beans - wow, that's really healthy food. What will they come up with next - why, it's deep fried macaroni and cheese! I can't believe people eat these things.
  • Quilter, there is nothing wrong with any food on occasion. Why the snarkiness in what people like and enjoy?
  • I agree Kelly! That's what is so great about WW. You don't feel deprived if you want to have something because you can have it!
  • In case anyone hasn't heard of it, they have deep fried mac and cheese as an appetizer at The Cheesecake Factory. We refer to it as crack n' cheese at our house! Thank God their wait time for a table is so long or we'd be there more than once or twice a year... don't worrry, they have "good stuff," too! It eat salad while gazing longingly at the plate...

Just remember, e-mail and posts make it difficult to determine the tone someone is using. I'm betting Susan's response was meant to be sarcastic and, since we never see that around here , we just didn't get the joke.
  • TGIF has it too.

Oh and if you know Susan (and me for that mattter) no she wasn't joking or sarcastic. It is just the way she (and me for that matter) are.
