  • Oh Trish... It's not THAT bad!!!! Do you feel any older?? If not, then you are still a kid!!! And, your kids will give you lots of gray hairs that will hide the old age ones!!!
  • I DO NOT Feel any older!
I feel the same old me...just like when I was 18. But more sure of myself and not so cocky! Age does have many advantages.
  • YAHHHH Trish, Then you really aren't any older!!!! Oh the power of positive thinking!!

Oh and I am binging on a coke out of pure stress!!!! Could be worse! Corn on the Cob is at it's peak right now and the in-laws grow it, so we will eat that again tonight... yum yum...
  • PS... Trish, remember last week I told you I found a new pizza dough recipe... it was OK, but the one I posted on the recipe thread is better and I think lower in points!!!
  • I'm going to be 30 in a year and 2 months! It's so strange to think about ... I don't FEEL like I'm in my late 20s.

A friend got married at 31. She adopted a baby at 39 after she discovered she couldn't have her own. So I guess you just have to say nuts to timetables! But part of me wants to have a baby now so my mom and grandma can enjoy them. I have such a close relationship with my grandma, I'd love to see my ,too, one day. My mom's already 8 years older than my grandma was when I was born.

Tonya: Yay on the size 7/8!

Belle: Ask your doctor about a nutritional supplement called Cosequin for Barney. My vet recommended it after my dog Toby had hip dysplasia and had to have a hip replaced. It's supposed to help with joint pain, muscle strength, all that sort of stuff. There's a dog version, but you can get the same thing in a people version over the counter that's much, much cheaper. Sometimes, I can tell he hurts and I lift him up on the bed with me (all 57 pounds of him! That's a workout!) so he doesn't have to jump. Poor puppies. My dogs are my children! I'd do anything for them, including spending nearly $2,000 for his hip surgery! OK, grandma helped a little.

I'm going to cook tonight! I put some salmon in the fridge to thaw and I'll have a baked potato and some fresh green beans I bought last night. Then I'll probably have to come back to work. Groan. Big story due Friday and I never seem to get much done during the day with everything else going on and my phone ringing constantly. Plus, I have to monitor police scanners all day.

Gotta run ... have a good evening everyone!
