Hey girls!

Its been way too long! I can't remember the last time I was on here. I can't remember if I told you all about my car accident back on September Long Weekend. Any it put me completely out of commission for 3 months and now I am almost better but still having pain with certain activities and if I get over tired or over do it. Its been a long few months. Things are finally getting back to normal so once again I can focus on my health. Still no better than I was before. One thing I am glad of is that for the three montha when I couldn't do anything I didn't gain any weight even though we were eating like crap-basically whatever wasn't work to make & a lot of take out. Anyway now refocused. I'm not following any real plan this time. I am just making healthy choices and having little goals of eating at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables and getting at least 30 minutes of some kind of activity every day. I figure if I can manage those little things that is a good start for me & then I'll take it up from there.

Have any of you ever heard of Geocaching (pronounced geo-cash-ing)? Its this sort of high-tech treasure hunt that's going on all over the world. You use a GPS to find little chache's that people have hidden all over the place. You get the co-ordinates off of a website (www.geocaching.com) and then you go out and find the hidden cache. When you find it you are only allowed to take something out of the treasure if you trade something in. Its realy fun! The treasure isn't the important part but rather going to new places and seeking your find without getting noticed by other people. Anyway DH bought me a GPS for my birthday this month so we've been really getting into it. Its good because most of the ones around here are ones where you have to walk a bit to find the cache. On Saturday we were out caching and we walked 5Km. We were having so much fun that we didn't even realize that we had walked that far. We found 3 caches that day. We're going out again today. If you're interested check out the website. It has lots more info. Where I live the population isn't so huge but there are 76 caches within 160kms (about 100 miles for you Americans).

So good to see lots of you 'old' friends are still around. Seems like there are lots of new faces as well. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Belle I can't believe Eve is this old already. Glad to hear you're doing well!

Ali, you're 5 months along already! Crazy! Are you glad all the election crap is over with? Of course us westerners are pleased with the outcome this time around. Now hopefully they can do a good job. I just hope the minority holds for awhile. Who wants to go through all that again?

Kier, Hey chicka! I bet you'd kick butt in martial arts. My brother and girlfriend do judo. It looks fun but rough. So did you buy a new house? Sorry I'm so out of the loop.

Lori, Congrats on Baby #2. What did you have and what is the name? Must've been pretty close to Christmas.

A big hello to every one else out there!

Hi everyone,

I took the day off today, wasn't feeling the best and we're having freezing rain (didn't want a repeat fender bender), gotta think of me and my baby!

Rina: I am in my 5th month, but in actual times, I am only 4 months along , it is moving fast at times and much slower at other times... As for the election, I am glad it's over, but have mixed emotions about everything, however I am guessing there will be another election in the next 3 years or so, I just HATED the campaign of pretty much all of the parties

Belle: Once I "pop" I'll do some belly pics... My long torso is just making me look like I've eaten too much...

I have gained way too much BTW, at this stage, I'll be happy if I don't put on 40+lbs in this pregnancy... Dec/Jan are hard months for me, not to mention I feel I am acting like a teenage girl all the time and crying over everything or even nothing... Darn hormones (my DF likes to call them my "jibbidy jabbidy hormones").

Cheers!

Ali

I had a pretty good day yesterday. I managed to eat decently. DH & I were out walking for about an hour an half when we were geocaching yesterday. We didn't mean to go that long but we couldn't find this certain chache that we wanted to get. Turns out we had one number wrong in the co-ordinates! Argh! Anyway we can home with two finds yesterday. It was a beautiful day to be out & about. Today is foggy but still warm for this time of year. This afternoon I have to work and tonight we're baby sitting my 5 month old neice. Other than that not much going on. I'm going for a walk in a bit and then later I'll probably walk over to DH's work and walk home with him.

Ali, I agree the campaigns were pretty petty. Glad its over. So have you been pretty healthy with your PG? Hormones suck. Mine have been all over this week b/c of TOM. Not much you can do though.

So what did everyone thinnk of the Oscar noms? I'm not really suprised. I haven't seen too many of the movies so I can't make too many judgements. Although the whole time we watched Cinderella Man I kept saying to my DH that Paul Giamatti is such a good actor. I hope that Narnai wins for everything it got nominated for. Its probably my favorite movie of 2005.

Hello to everyone else! Hope you're all having a good week!
