Welcome 2006!

  • I feel really good about starting this new year. I think I got some very good body habits established last year, and confident that I will keep them up going into this year. Exercise is really part of my life now, which is just great.

Still tricky: avoiding food ruts. For example, I love (I mean really love) hummus and tabouli. I eat it in a whole wheat wrap for lunch almost every single day during the workweek. As Seinfeld would say, "Not that there's anything wrong with that." But I need some variety or I'll really become addicted and stop eating a variety of foods. Need to try some new vegetables, or maybe those Uncle Ben's frozen brown rice bowls. has anyone tried them? Are they way too salty?

Best to all in this new year!
  • WOO HOO!!!!!

I am so glad the new year is finally here. I feel liek I have been stuck drudging through the holidays forever! I love the holidays, I just get tired of the commercialism and the tension and the running around. I am really looking forward to a fresh start and getting back on track!
  • I have a few goals for 2006:

Keep the house in order more

Exercise to Kinetic--based on it's programmed schedule (through mid-March)

    Start a savings account

    Lose 10 pounds

    Sale shop for groceries better

Try to be sexier around the house (which may seem strange, but I feel like I'm always in sweats and stuff)
  • My goal in 2005 was to lose 20 pounds. I lost 17 officially on WW, but began this year weighing 345. So I lost 30 pounds this year!!

In 2006, my goal is to lose 40 pounds overall. Naturally, I hope it will be a lot more than that.
  • Great goals girls!!!! Steph your last one makes sense to me! I feel like I wear the same stuff everyday and slap my hair into pony tail day in and day out. So I want to feel better about myself and try to make myself a bit more presentable. Really that's just as much for me and my self esteem as it is for my husband. I wish he'd think about doing that too cuz he comes home and puts on ripped up smelly barn clothes as soon as he walks in, not a turn on to see every freaking day!!!
