Thank you SO much for the thoughts, hugs and well-wishes!! I think it was because of all your support that I made it through! Yes, that's right- I DID IT! The comps are done and I am free of my reading-list prison!!
By the way, what is the deal with this guy? A dancing
carrot?! Who ever heard of such a thing? I mean, a
that's completely normal, but...
Oh, I feel like a new woman, you wouldn't believe it- it's as if I have been given my life back. I put away all of my comp books and study stuff and cleaned up the "office" (er, the kitchen) and it seems, truly, like everything is organized and under control now. Unbelieveable!
Red wine, Cal? Lucio Pinot Grigo for me, after exams we all went to the pub and drank ourselves silly- something I do not reccommend, as I was sick in the morning
(I've always wanted to use that emoticon!) But I agree with what you said after your comps- there is this unbelieveable feeling of serenity... which I hope lasts me through the week until I hear that I passed! (Keep those fingers crossed, dearies- I'm not in the clear yet!) Have you heard yet, Cal? Well, I have faith the size of the universe that YOU passed, but I'm still a little nervous about mine...
So now it's back to the thesis, which is rockin' and WILL BE DONE by 12/16. I'm sorry I've abandoned you girls- really, I think about you all the time and send you my support- plus, I'm thrilled to see how well you're all doing, and that you're still here. I haven't been OP at all for a while now- we'll call it an exercise in maintaining- but now comps are done and I'm feeling more in control and I'm going back hard core- I still have a way to go, and I can't wait to reach that goal too...
So, I promise to be a better sista- and to get back OP- and I'll be back as soon as I can!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
