Default Crock Pot Recipes - for quick and easy meals

Please post any crockpot recipes on this thread. We all need time savers, so why not make a good, healthy meal and save time!!!

CROCK POT SLOPPY JOES

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup ketchup
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
3 Tblsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tblsp. brown sugar
2 Tblsp. prepared mustard
2 Tblsp. cider vinegar
1-1/2 tsp. chili powder
Hamburger buns

In a heavy skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain off excess fat. Combine ketchup, bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and chili powder in slow cooker. Stir in ground beef mixture. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 7 to 9 hours. Serve spooned over hamburger buns, with a side salad.

Pineapple chicken

4(3oz) boneless, skinless, chicken breasts
paprika
pepper
1(19oz) can unsweetened pineapple tidbits (undrained)
2Tbsp dijon mustard
2Tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced

Spray CP with spray. Arrange chicken in bottem of CP. Sprinkle with paprika and pepper. Mix soy sauce pineapple and mustard together, pour over chicken. Add minced garlic. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.
4 servings/ 4 points each

I haven't made it but it got great reviews where I picked it up from.

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3 to 4 pound rump roast, trimmed
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
dash Worcestershire sauce
dash soy sauce
1 package Italian salad dressing mix -- (Good Seasons)

1. Put roast in crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan
and
cook over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove
from
heat and pour over roast in crock pot. Cook all night on low or 6 -8
hours
on high. About 1 and 1/2 hours before serving, flake meat apart and
continue cooking.
