I went back to WW last nite and YIKES! it was bad. I am now at the heaviest ever (I knew I gained) but the good news is that I am back on track now and determined to get that weight off and get back to goal. I bought an electronic scale and plan to get back to weighing and measuring. Eyeballing just doesn't work for me. When I weighed and measured everything the first time around and was strict on program I lost 55 lbs. in a little over six months. I don't expect to do it that fast this time (I was a lot younger) but at least I should be able to stop yo-yoing and see those numbers on the scale go down and stay there.

Congrats on going back. That is the best thing you can do. I am proud of you. How is the family? What happened with the house? Did the landlord sell?

My landlady managed to pay taxes just before they were going to take the house away from her. Whew! It is not that I really like it here so much but I want to move on our own time. We are considering buying something up in the Catskill Mountains. It is so beautiful there and I was much happier when we lived there.

Otherwise everything is going OK. Both Ken and I have been under a lot of stress, but that is our norm. Arthur is just counting the days until the end of the school year. It is better this year, but he still can't wait for school to be over.

Little Adam passed away. I am having a hard time with this. It is surprising me. I cried so hard.

Adam is a little boy who had BAV, Aortic Stenosis. He was the son of a woman in one of our groups. We have known for some time that he was going to have this operation. Without it he would have had only 2 yrs. left. this was a chance to correct it so he could live a long life. It was a risk. He just had his 4th birthday. My heart goes out to Daisy. It is hitting me like it was one of my own. His mom (Daisy) is so sweet. She was always upbeat and ready to cheer everyone on.

That is so sad about Adam. Life is always too short and such a short life is such a shame. At least he knew he was loved and is now not suffering anymore.
