Here is what I did - basically it's what JKB advised (strenght in #'s). I phoned buddy and said I was too busy (totally true). And he wanted to do coffee today. So, I called my coworker and asked if she has any business with them. She does. So she is coming along. Hee hee!! Now it will HAVE to be a business coffee b/c he doesn't try any of that crap in front of other people. So, safe and still isn't snubbing him for the company's sake
Last night I did my Mama Yoga tape. I really feel good after, but the day after my joints are all loose and weird. The hormone, relaxin, is really weird. You feel all loose and very flexible, but sort of wobbly.
WE also took pics of my belly. We did clothed (for the internet) and bare-belly for us with "20" written on my belly (for the weeks). we'll do that every week adn I'll scrapbook it for Baby, with his/her ultrasound pics.
For you Canadians, RRSP deadline is fast approaching - hope you get yours topped up. We did ours yesterday. I hope it helps b/c DH was under-taxed this year and it might bite us in the @ss!! Hate tax season...
Rina - your bp isn't that bad. I was at my prenatal and mine was 150/85 and they said it's nothing to worry about, that is normal fluctuation. When I was in the hospital on Saturday for IV, it was really low, but I was lying down. Besides the bottom # is what really counts, and yours at 83 is only slightly elevated (text book is only 80). So you aren' doing as bad as you think!!! All that worrying about your bp is sure to rise your bp!!!
OK must run now and do work. Come out and PLAY!!!!
Hi Ladies I'm bad had sugar eeek wi tommorrow

Lori, Kier is right. Although very rarely for some women it makes it flow too much! That is the case for my mom. Most often, it plugs you up. Hello roughage and water, and prune juice! That is what works for me pg!!
My problem was OBGYN related. My monthly reminder stayed around for a month The doc said that I probably didn't ovulate and so there was more blood. They did ultrasounds and bloodwork and couldn't find anything except a low iron count.
Lori, this is what happened to me. Then it got to be that I'd bleed 3/4 weeks and one week off. I WAS ovulating, as I got pregnant right away. They wanted me to take hormones to regulate, but that can be tricky. Take the iron pills and see if they work. If not they'll have to give you shots monthly (also a pain, but do help with fatigue a lot). Anyway, don't worry about having wacked out system - even losing weight can contribute to the irregularity of the cycle (amoung other irregularities!!).
I've been bleeding for over a month now and I'm taking BC! The doc if i can remember her name is an OBGYN but no baby plans b/c pregnant and out of shape (for me) would be disaster
I think i had my workout for the day I walked from the north building to the south building and back Altogether it probably took me 20 minutes with lunch in between
Back to work!

Modkitten I posted what my experience is with the iron supplement on the wedneday and thursday thread. I am glad that I had some good advice for Belle...I am good for something, hehe . I am very excited because I weighed myself today and I lost another two pounds. I just have to keep reminding myself to keep this stuff up!!!!
Hi everyone-just catching up on the threads-was only down .4 this week, but I'll take it-had no time to exercise. ModLori-I hear you about the houses, we live in MA-our friends in the midwest have beautiful homes for 2/3 what i payed for my older home(which is nice, but not brand new if you kwim)
Ali-I missed your buying a house-congratulations!
Belle-I read your post about the BP-hopefully the dr is checking again soon-in my practice that would be considered extremely high...
Rina-I agree with the others-see your Dr, in addition to all of the lifestyle changes you are starting to make...it's possible that a medication would only be temporary once the lifestyle stuff kicks in, but in the meantime your BP is doing silent damage to your body...even if the lower number is normal, if the upper number is high, things can still happen..
Hi ladies
Lori a loss is a loss
Wi today I maintained better than last week I gained a pound I think all my walking this week saved me I had fattening food around me all week but i preservered for most of it this week NOEXCUSES! I WANT MY 5 pound BOOKMARK! I'm not accepting anything less!
I worked on finishing unpacking our rec room yesterday... Just one room left that is full on junk, so I am feeling better about everything... I am starting my Spring Cleaning now! I'll have to get the carpets steamed but I'll do that in May/June...
Re: low Iron... I struggle with that, but even with my daily iron pill I am often beyond exhausted. I booked my physical for July so if I keep being so tired I might need some more tests done which bites
Belle: I topped off my RRSP yesterday... I knew I'd have to, the downside of working two jobs... I'll probably owe about $60, but not a huge amount... I regularly contribute to an RRSP too... I get my tax software next week (Free too, my one job perk) so I'll be able to do mine then. I got my interim municipal tax bill yesterday. I'll switch to monthly payments now
Rina: My BP is not the best and for me it is genetic. I know I'll probably have to go on meds in the future, but my healthy lifestyle is helping me delay that. Hopefully I can do without until my 40s instead of the early 30s... We shall see.
Lori: I bought my house last summer.. Still have some unpacking to do believe it or not, but I did a big chunk yesterday.
