Default Freaky Friday

I thought I would just start this up! So I had a weigh in today.. and I'm only down 1 pound.. which means I gotta lose 3 pounds for the next 2 weeks in order to hit my end of Oct Challenge! I don't know that I can do it.. but I'll plug away anyways! I am trying to look at the positive.. but yah.. I can't do it. I'm still trying to lose the weight from my darn Seattle trip, which means I'm still 1 pound UP! Okay, enough weight talk..

Whats new? What are the plans for the weekend? I am working of course! The good news is that someone new is taking over writing the schedules at work, and I'm going to FINALLY get a weekend off! yay

So I got up this morning and did "8 Minutes in the Morning", it's a weight routine that only takes about 8 minutes in the morning.. hence the name. I'm hoping it's something I can stick to because it's so little time.. I have such huge time issues, so this might fit in perfectly Have a great Friday

eugh I'm having issues with caffiene (my drug of choice) so this morning I'm being bad and having a fullfat sprite but just 1
I'm trying to finish up some work DH and i are going out tonight and tommorrow if the rain stops Pumpkin pickin!
Aimee I heard good things about that 8 minutes stuff.

Aimee: Hi there. I am working too. My manager seems pretty good and doing the schedules. She tries to rotate the Friday and Saturday night shifts as well as the Sunday. I am working tonight until 9:30, tomorrow from 12 to 5 and Sunday from 1-6. Can you block off the occasional weekend? I know the FT people at work are entitled to one weekend off a month. They changed my scehdule on me though so I am going to have to try and switch my Thursday night shift next week since I have plans... argh (well a girl has the same hours I had on the Friday so I will ask if I can switch with her)! Oh well if I can't I'll give my ticket to my friend so she can bring someone along for an alumni thing that's happening.

As for me, I am working tonight and running tomorrow morning and on Sunday morning. OI gotta find a time to clean as well. I also just got invited to a Halloween party so I have to figure out what to dress up as. I haven't been to a Halloween party thin before (even though my weight is up, I am pretty thin again, I can see my ribs again yah!).

Oh I forgot to mention, I had a pair of jeans that I couldn't even get all the way up a while ago and now I can button them up! I am probably about 5lbs away from wearing them comfortably but I was so excited!! The running is also helping me build up my legs. Yah!!

Ali - how tall are you? and what size are you? And is it just me.. or does this little section not talk about their actual weight a whole lot? I can understand why.. lots of people can get obsessed with the number.. As for asking for weekends off, if I want to get good hours I have to be available ALL the time, and if I wasn't working weekends I'd be short all of those hours.. I can only hope the girl doing the schedule now keeps up this new trend for me

Hi Aimee: I am 5'6 and about 159 right now (technically I am overweight, I don't think so though, I am slim or thin, but not skinny)... I have a very thin upper body when I am in good shape, just the way I am, but my lower half is quite the reverse. I know where I want to be which is a size 6 (I have been a size 4 but that was too small)... I am caring less and less about the number on the scale.. I am about a size 8 right now (a comfortable 8).

I ahve finally finished the article that has been plagueing me for over a week!
Thank God
I also discovered Oatmeal and protien powder not a good combo 5 bites were 5 too many
My sickies are over and TOM is almost there tommorrow we are pickign pumpkins which means a fair amount of walking (burn baby Burn Calorie INFERNO!)
We might be goign to the city Monday night If DH wants to go if not I'll go with my sister. its a comedy thing ffrom the magazine btw I have to check but DH might have scanned wedding pics last night! I hope hoipe hope
