  • Hey Kier-I am here, doing well but very stressed at work and trying to resist M and M temptation!! Why do I need to eat chocolate when I am stressed?????
  • Lori: Because chocolate tastes sooo good Doesn't it also have some things in it that raises seretonin levels or soemthing.

Kierie: yah for getting your weight back down.

Today was the first day of picketing. I did a 4 hour shift between 6 and 10 this morning, so now I am on my weekend! Sucks though, my pay is much lower on strike pay.

    Cheers!

When stressed I eat Butter and cheese
    and according to prevention
fatty/chocolaty goodness has the same effect on your tongue as a "pleasurable touch"
    point in case
this afternoon while heating something up for my 100 pounds wet grandma who only likes fattening food
My healthy lunch wasn't done and stressed kierie has no resistance whatsoever
I need some tools to keep me away from alfredo sauce
    big time
Ali what are you guys picketing for. . .wish we could be there to support you btw think of the pts you're burning on your feet!
  • Lori: Hey!! Good on you on the working out!! And it's nice to have a personal trainer in the family. Good on you for not turning 4 bad days into a week. bad days happen remember to ALL of us.

Kierie: It's about job security. We don't have a lot if our job is considered surplus, miost of the rest of the government has better policies. Also for term workers who don't have much security. The biggest is wages. I could live with what the employer is offering, but the fact is it doesn't really cover the rise of cost of living. Also doesn't help that all the politcians have had huge raises over the last 5 years, yet they claim we're asking too much (even if I am a party supporter (am I allowed to say that?), I think it's like the pot calling the kettle black)... A report handed out said we should be getting a 8.25% raise over the next three years so we're trying to get that. Who knows... I just don't like being out all the time.

    Cheers!
