Wednesday

  • Checking in today. There was a rpower-out last night so WI couldn't happen. I checked my scale and I am down about 1/2-1lbs unofficially. I checked this morning and I was up one the joys of salt induced water retention (I had soup plus chicken with dipping sauce after I weighed myself last night.

    So I shall see how much I weight next Tuesday (though I cannot stay for the meeting due to going to seeing Sarah Mclachlan on next week).

  • Hey all,

    I had my WI in last night, and after barely following the program all week (depression and boredom got to me... someone needs to yank me away from ice cream,) I actually am down .2 lbs. Not really a big deal and it's probably because I barely ate anything yesterday cuz I was so busy, but at least I didn't gain. Today starts a new week and I'm going to get back on track and journal everything I eat and stay within my points. Good luck to everyone and stay away from ice cream it's evil!!!

  • Jeni: I am sorry you're down (your mood that is) right now. Boredom can be sooo evil when it comes to food. I am not an ice cream eater (I have some occassionally, but never been a big fan), but know what comfort foods can and can't do for me. Anyway here's to a new week for you and am glad you're feeling motivated!!

    Jeni In re to boredom I do it too but a good way to distract is grab a book or something crafty
    esp somthing that you can't eat while doing
    like knitting or painting
    I'm feeling a bit better today
    and I have to call an interview and see if instead of an employee they'd want an intern
    (its a long story)
