I hope everyone is doing well. I splurged and had a Cadbury egg yesterday which was devine and half price, but I resisted the temptation of eating more than one (and buying more than one). I kind of binged partly from stress and a nasty TOM this month...
Anyhoo, today is a new day! I am really thinking of combining WW with South Beach for a while (starting next week). I have to lower my carbs and I have heard the plan is excellent for reducing Sugar cravings... I think the losing 13 lbs in the first two weeks definitely won't happen and I am not sure how I feel about giving up fruit and starches for two weeks, but I figure two weeks without won't kill me, I'll have my apple juice on hand just in case I have a sugar low, but sugar lows in general are caused by too much sugar and then crashing... South Beach is a lot more sensible than Atkin's and you can incorporate good carbs in and everything and good fats. It's not really high protien per say. My problem with the fact that I am hypoglycemic is that it has a tendancy to turn into diabetes in middle age so I do have to be very careful now. I still want to do points because I feel portion size is still important and I of course will still exercise.
I'll also modify the phase 2... I rely on bananas to stop muscle cramps and I figure with the amount of exercise I do it won't be too detrimental.
