day two
today is the beginning of day two on this new plan and boy do i ever feel bloated! having been on atkins for over a year and now this -- it worries me. i am about tostart my period in a few days so i hope that's the reason for the bloated feeling. but i woke up this morning and my fingers feel fat. so much so that it hurts to make a fist. *sigh*
please tell me this is temporary...
i already have well disciplined habits. i drink 80-100oz of water a day, eat lots of vegies and of course my protein. yesterday, for the first time in over a year, i added some fruit (apple) and some grains (whole wheat bread for my sandwich). i also had a potato with my dinner (boiled).
i'm having to do a complete 180 it seems - high fat to very low fat. i am feeling overwhelmed and discouraged today. any words of advice? any ex-atkins people out there? how did you feel when you started doing this plan?
