Morning ladies!

I thought I'd get a quick post in before work today - and I'm excited and confused because I just stepped on the scale and I'm down 3.5! I haven't exactly been OP all week so I'm guessing it's just a fluke but am still going to record it! This puts me 3.5 away from the Halloween goal - whether or not the lbs are back next week is anyone's guess.... especially with leftover Halloween candy!

I don't have a costume to wear to work today, kind of wish I did but I never got around to finding one. So I'm not feeling very festive right now! But I did make cookies for work today and am going to be handing out candy to whatever kids come around tonight (I'm guessing not many, I live in an apt complex that does not have any kids in it)... Maybe I should have carved my pumpkin -- oops, a little late now.

Karla, BBTP means be back to post. I'm glad you're here and posting!

Just wanted to give everyone an update. Thanks for keeping my family in your prayers. Cousin Becky is doing ok, just in a lot of pain. Friend one is awake from the coma and off the ventilator. Still not sure as to any other damage that has happened to her. Her brain still has quite a bit of swelling, so they are moving her as little as possible right now. Friend number two will need surgery to repair the shattered pelvis, but all of the internal bleeding has stopped and the organs and lungs seem to be healing well.

As for everyone here, I'm going to go back and catch up on some posts. Good to "see" all of you again.

Happy Halloween ladies and lurkers!!

Well, on Wednesday I was feeling under the weather and I had the feeling a bronchial thing was coming on. I was right...by Wed after work I was coughing really bad and had a fever, as well as head stuffiness and sneezing (viral, but moved to my chest).
I have been home 2 days! I did do some work from home today, but for the most part I have been sleeping and resting. I swear, when I am over this I am taking garlic EVERY DAY (look out vampires). Does anyone know of any home remedies that really work???

Angie - woo hoo on your 3.5 down!! I have been up 3# but TOM Is due tommorrow. I haven't been eating much so I figure it is really just water retention...if it's not, then I don't know! Go figure! Good luck with the left over candy - we don't even have any candy here....I will send b/f to get me a candy bar tonight though.

Since we live in a condo block, we won't get any kids this year, which makes me sad. Plus, we didn't get a pumpkin in time (they were sold out after the doc last night) so we can't even carve!! BOOOHHHHH!!

Jayne - glad to hear the three of them are improving. They are all still in my prayers....

Are you going trick or treating with Aaron tonight? It is -15C here!! We got dumped on with snow, so the kids will be bundled up tonight!
