Default Fabulous 40's and then some....#144

Needed a new one. I hate when it goes to 7 pages.

Big Brother is that reality show on CBS. I watch it every year. LOVE IT!!!!! IT is like Real World and there is such turmoil.
Bruce buys me the live 24/7 feed and I can watch them and find out things.

Good Morning,

It's 4:15 AM. During the week I'm always up at this time. I cook at this time.

Terri, when I browse trying to find something on TV that looks interesting I think I came across that show. I don't watch much TV cause I'm always trying to catch up with my soaps.

Jen, as soon as I find out about the new plan I'll let you know. She said it's like a check book instead of the journal. We'll be subtracting instead of adding. I love when WW comes out with something new.

Have a nice day everybody.

Hugs,
Es

Ruth,
Your grandkids are adorable. You should be very proud. I'm sure you aced your exam. I got an 87 on my presentation so that means I should get an A for the class.

Jen,
SOrry to hear about the damage to your cars. The main thing is that no one was hurt.

Terri,
WHen do you go back home? It seems like you've been in CO for months. Having a great time and making the rest of us jealous of course.

ZOe,
How are you doing? Hope the house is coming together.

Dianne,
The B&B sounds lovely. I won't be taking any vacation until the end of AUgust.

Es,
Congratulations on the new swim suit. You earned It.

Got to get back to work ( I have been out sick for 2 days with a cold and fever). I have lots of catching up to do.

Bye for now....

Hi

Janie, take care of yourself. So many people I know have colds. I stayed away from them even though I hardly ever catch a cold. WTG with 87!

I am officially on vacation. Day 1 & it's pouring outside. I am so sick of the rain. I'll find something to do.

Hi Jen, Dianne, Terri, Ruth & Zoe/Patti

Have a great day.

Love,
Es

Es,
Whoo Hoo!! Vacation hope you get to relax and enjoy.

Unfortunately we've also had a week of rain and cool temperatures, which was disappointing for Joe, who was off this week. He leaves tomorrow for Ontario; my son and brother are also going. They are so excited!

HI to everyone,
~Jen

Hey you's guys ~ Well, just like me, propose a challenge and then disappear. Sheesh.....sorry about that. I've just been so busy with the house, with work, etc.....but I am trying to take time for myself. My eating hasn't gotten back on track so I really need this challenage.

I want to lose 10 lbs by Labor Day. Since Labor Day is the first week in Sept (right?), let's say our final weigh day is Monday morning, Sept 8th......how's that sound? 10 lbs by weigh in on Sept. 8th.

I am going to read all the posts I missed over this weekend. I will return....

miss you's guys...

Hey girls, how is everyone?

JEN, I know you must be enjoying the pool now. I would love to have a tan, but I'm too afraid of the sun to lay out in it. Oh well, my white legs will have to do, maybe they will get a little color on them since I walk several days a week.

ES, are you still going to Curves. I just recently discovered that I have two of them within 3 and 6 miles from me. I really need to check them out!!

TERRI, how is Colorado? What exciting things did you do this weekend? I missed the first episode of Big Brother, but I did watch the next one. What days will it be coming on?

JANIE, Congrats on the A!! Aren't these summer classes tough. I had my first test for the new session last Wednesday, I made an A, so now if I can make over 87% in the next 4 test I will keep my A in the class!! Wish me luck.

ZOE, I'll take your challenge, I would like to also lose 10 more pounds. In fact, at this point I'd like to lose FIVE pounds. Are you enjoying the new home?

Well, I know I probably left something out, but I better run. Hope everyone has a good week.

We have a new look here no wonder I couldn't log in last night.

Ruth,
Keep up the good work in class! I don't get tan from laying out in the sun, it's mainly from gardening and swimming.

Jess and the boys are headed over to spend the afternoon swimming Last week was so rainy and cool that we never went in.

I'm missing Joe at night, hate that empty bed! During the day isn't so bad. Zoe and Terri, I know your husbands travel frequently.....how do you get used to it?

I've got to get going on our Summer Challenge. I don't want to be the only one not posting a loss of any kind on Labor Day!!! Unfortunately I'm back at 237, which is EXACTLY where I was back in April when I had my last bout of motivation.

hope everyone's having a great day!

Janie,
I hope you are feeling better. Congrats on the test score. WoooHooo! We will be here for about 3 more weeks. I don't even want to think about how many things we have to do when we get back. This weekend we are doing Six Flags/Water park in Denver. Actually Friday cause weekends are nuts. Then we will white water raft Saturday.
This past weekend we saw Pirates of the Carribean. Cute, cute movie. I loved Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. He was a good comedic actor.

Ruth,
BB4 comes on Tues.(8:00/7:00c),Wed.(9:00/8:00C), and Fridays(8:00/7:00c). I have the live feed and I find out things way in advance. It will be very good on Tues. cause something big happened yesterday. my mom, sister and Britts and are always into Big Brother and we love to talk about certain people. IT CUTS DOWN ON TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE WE ACTUALLY KNOW.

Zoe,
Don't work to hard.

Es,
Enjoy your vacation. Hope it stops raining.

Jen,
How far is Ontario from you and what are they doing up there? Hope they have fun.

Have a great Monday everyone.
Terri

Hi Jen,
We must have posted at the same time.
I never get used to that feeling of Bruce being gone and I am sure it would be a lot lonlier w/o kids in the house. I take advantage and read a lot more in bed ( I always feel I am disturbing him even though he never says anything)and I like the feeling of not feeling like I have to clean (even though he never says anything and kids couldn't care less )
The kids get hot dogs, lean cuisines so no big meals to worry about. I always look at the bright sides of things.

wow, Terri,
I can't believe you're going home in 3 weeks! It seemed like you'd be there the whole summer.
Catching up on my reading is my #1 priority right now with Joe gone I'm not really cooking...have been having lean cuisines and salads.
Ontario is about 18 hours from here...they're at an all inclusive fishing resort on a huge lake.
Funny I've been just the opposite...am in a cleaning frenzy! I hate to clean while he's home, and since he was off all last week, I didn't get much done.

Don't get to lonely. It is great that you still miss him. There are so many who don't. I will pray for a safe trip.

Hey ladies,

TERRI, wow, I can't believe you'll be going home in three weeks. You guys have been able to make some wonderful memories in Colorado. Thanks for the dates of BB4. I only saw it 1 night last week. Now that I know the what nights it comes on, I won't miss it. I've been watching since the very first season. I can't believe all the reality shows that I've gotten hooked on...Survivor, The Amazing Race, Bachelor, Bachelorette, For Love or Money, Meet the Parents, American Idol, American Juniors and now Who Wants to Marry Dad. I'm sure I left something out, whatever happen to old fashion movies and sit coms!! LOL

ES, how is vacation? Is it still raining? I hope that you have been able to get out a little while you're off.

JEN, I wish that I were more of an outdoor person. I don't enjoy yardwork very much. So, the only sun I get is during my afternoon walks. I know what you mean about missing your hubby. If I'm out of town I don't have a problem with it, but the one time that Maurice had a two day trip away from home, I really missed him. Guess I know how he feels when I run off without him!! LOL

Well I better run, need to get to school. I'll check in with you later.

Thumbs down

Hi Girls

Ruth, my vacation has been relaxing so far. The weather has been great. I set up a couple of my drs. appts. for this week then the other days I go to the beach. I want to go to the end of Long Island which is called Montauk Point. We have to plan a day for that.

Terri, the time is flying. I remember when you were planning to go! How's Tanner? Hi Brittany

Jen, I've never been away from Pete so I don't know how it feels. I try to encourage to go visit his family. They're scattered all over the place. There's 9 of them

I have a urinary tract infection. Where did that come from? I went for the 1st part of my physical yesterday & that's when they asked me have I been feeling pain when I go to the bathroom. I knew something wasn't right but I figured it would go away. I'm on antibiotics. Now I have to watch for a yeast infection. I always get one when I'm on antibiotics.l

Be back later or tomorrow.

Hugs,
Es
