Yahoo!!!!!! I updated my tracker and I've lost 4 pounds.
I've been eating oatmeal for breakfast and a green salad w/ tuna or canned chicken for lunch. Supper is usually chicken and several veggies.
I like the Fiber One treats for my afternoon snacks. I'm trying to exercise 3 times a week.
How is everyone doing? Please let us hear from you!
Hi! Can I jump in here? I just switched from calorie counting to weight watcher's old points system. I still have my old books and found a great app to use. I'll officially be at 1 wk on Saturday morning. I don't think I'm making great food choices but I am staying within my points. I work full time, a wife and a mom....I really need to plan my meals better and get them healthier! Lean cuisine, along with green giant steam veggies has been my go to this week.
Stayed the same last week. This week I did not stay OP, but still managed to lose 2.6 pounds. Not sure how I did it, but guess I was just lucky. Sunday is my birthday, so not sure how I will do next week. Hope everyone has a good week.
Hi all
I'm new to the forum and I'm on my third WW Week. I'm doing it from home on my own (well, with my partner :-)), as I just ordered the basic starter pack and two cookbooks.
So far, it works pretty well but my biggest challenge is the planning meals and cooking. I just feel it's all I do after a long day at work. There are good days and bad days, obviously, but currently I'm struggling a bit with the time it consumes.
What are your tricks?
cheers!
Hi, everyone. I know it's been awhile since I've posted. I've been going through a rough time right now. (That's what happens when a twenty year relationship goes down the tubes.) But I don't want to think of that right now...I'm back and want to stay on track. I still *grins* have that pesky writer's conference coming up in April...and I want to lose at least twenty - twenty five more pounds. I think I can do it...that's only 5 lbs a month.
Amazingly enough...I haven't gained any weight - just maintained and lost maybe a pound and half. Now, however I have the opposite problem than when I started. Because of stress, I'm simply not hungry. So Im trying healthy light snacks...and eating several times a day instead of three meals.
Maybe being here will help bring my appetite back.
Hi all,
It's great to have new people here!!!!!
Dakota, I'm glad you are back...so sorry about the problems, though.
Stress never makes me not want to eat . Continue to eat healthy and you will be down to your goal weight.
I'm still plodding along. I need my metabolism to kick in again.
haven't been here for a while - I've been so off the wagon it's horrible I've regained over half the weight I lost in the first 6 months of the year - I'm so sick of me - - and everyday I get up and say this is the day I'm sticking to program - well it hasn't been happening for almost 5 months - I'm back - out goes the halloween candy and any other junk that's in my apartment.
welcome to all the newcomers - this is a great thread

Hi Maureen, I know what you are saying. I just can't keep the weight off. Of course, I have stopped exercising.
Since Larry retired, I just eat too much. I've never eaten 3 big meals a day.
So, now I'm cutting back.
