Thank you Maureen and Tina. We sat down and had a talk this afternoon, and it went very well. They both admitted to slacking off and promise to do better. :)

Tina, Lauren suggested the eggs too! I just might do that depending on how my hands are feeling. Sometimes they hurt and peeling eggs isn't good.

Maureen, I think that's great about helping your sister. I agree with Tina that it sounds like a long time to do a mile. Good for you for using sunscreen!

Tina, I giggled about the makeup.

Tammy, glad you seem to have sorted things out- it's not a mile for the walk home it's almost 5 miles - that's why it's the hour & half!!

Today is actually nice out - not too hot. The 4th should be bearable, too.
The ice maker in the frig is making a growling sound! That's got to be bad, don't you think! I'd better look in the booklet and see what the "trouble shooting" part says. I am not in the mood to have a repair guy come out .

Tina, I'll let you know later tonight-if it doesn't rain today will be my first walk - we had the day off yesterday. I'm just hoping the weather holds up. I'm not doing too bad with the food today - so the walk will be added incentive.

It hasn't been as hot here, and I like it! Slept with the windows open last night, and it was so nice.

5 years ago today I lost Bob. Not having the best day. Lauren's birthday.
Tim ran away from some bees today, ran right into a bar of some kind, lots of blood. He is in the ER right now in Indiana (where L is from) waiting on stitches and a catscan. He wasn't conscious for a while, so that is a concern to doctors. Just not the best day.

7 staples, mild concussion, whiplash. His bp and pulse are up, so the dr is running more tests. I did get to talk to him about half hour ago, so that made me feel better.

Tammy I sure hope everything's okay - glad you were able to talk to him-
it's been hot and humid here - we had a bit of rain earlier this evening - didn't cool anything down much - I'm making a promise to myself that tomorrow morning I'm going to the weight watcher meeting - I need something-
it's so busy at work - we bought out another company this one is in Toronto and it's an IT staffing firm-they've been in business almost 20 years - so here we go again!!

Tammy, how is Tim?

Hi everyone. Tim is doing ok. His neck is more sore than his forehead where he hit the pole. He went to work today. He is taking 600mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours, so that is helping. It was nice for them to get home yesterday. Lauren's mom was at the hospital, so that helped knowing that she was there.
