DBD Day 5 (Friday)
Good morning, challengers!!
How was your Thursday? Mine was pretty good. I achieved my goals for the day, which were to stay in my points range, do WATP over lunch, and drink my water. I didn't get all of my water in, but 2/3 of it isn't bad. Today is going to be a challenge. Already this morning, I've eaten a poppy seed bagel with a little cream cheese and one snickerdoodle cookie. I think that a bunch of us from work are going to a restaurant where everything is covered in cheese for lunch, and Mike wants to go to dinner tonight. So, my goals for the day are: 1) Take a walk at break 2) Drink all my water (I have to do something since I'm probably not going to be able to stay in my points range). 3) Even though I'll be going out for lunch and dinner, I'm going to try to keep it under control and be a very good girl tomorrow. Hmm...I've been forgetting to check in each day.
Yesterdays Goal: Make it through the day at any cost! Did that successfully! Today's Goals: 30 minutes exercise, eat healthy, drink 64oz H20. So far doing good - did 1 Mile WATP and 10 Minute Tone WATP for a total of 30 minutes of exercise, have had 48oz H20 and packed food for nutritious meals at work! |
Hey girls,
I pretty much accomplished my goals for yesterday. The only reason I stayed within plan is because I didn't have time to eat any dinner before going to my game. I had a couple more drinks than I had planned, and a chicken finger, but it still worked out OK. My goal for today is to get some form of exercise in. It's up in the air if I'm going out of town tonight, and I did not get up early this morning and do it before work. |

I almost didn't make it to the gym yesterday, but I forced myself & made it through: yesterday's goal accomplished.
Today: goal is not to go crazy as we're having a food day at work, everyone brought something. |
I caved!!!
I didn't keep my goal yesterday. I got my water in but we had only pasta, shrimp and jelly beans at the potluck (we had mini pizzas but never made them) oh and ice cream. So I had a drumstick (ice cream) AND an Ice cream sandwich. I only had 7 tortilinis and a tablespoon of sauce and a handful of Jelly beans but I didn't count my shrimp. Probably around 15 - breaded, baked shrimp. It was horrible. I also had a ceasar salad at lunch. So much for a good day. I start again today. 1 - get in that water 2 - STAY OP 3 - avoid starches and carbs. I'm working till midnight and I've brought food with me so I should be OK as long as I avoid drive throughs. KT |
