Angry Tuesday Thread

Good morning! Sorry I didn't get to post again yesterday. Looks like leaving work at 3pm doesn't allow me a lot of time to get back to posting after others have posted.

I am trying this colored font thing...we'll see how it comes out!

Ok..updates here...babysitting was OK. I got to the house nad no one was there! The two younger kids decided to go over a friends' hosue after they got off the bus. So I called the dad, he said a certain door is always unlocked. I went in the house. I got there at 3:15, and the two younger kids (10 and 13) got home at 5:00 or so. They called at 4:30 to let me know they were over a friend's house. The older one (16) had hockey practice after school and got a ride home and got there abour 5:15. I made them dinner and then the dad came home at 6. We went over where things are in teh house etc. I got home around 7, made dinner, took a bath, and went to bed. Long day, considering it started at 6:30!

Today I work 6:30 to 3 and then babysit 3-9. But the Bruins game is on NESN and they have cable and all 3 kids LOVE hockey and play it, so they will be watching the game with me if they don't have practice.

OK on another note, we got a personal loan to consolidate our debt. 11.99%!!!!! YEAH cause I have a credit card with the company we are getting the loan through. They said they could give us the rate I had on the card I held with them, but that card would have to be paid off and cancelled. I said "fine with me!" This really lowers what we will pay each month and we will pay off our debt much sooner than we would have if we didn't have the loan.

Also, I have ben EXTREMELY good eating-wise lately. Stuck to my points, counting everything...perfect! Lets hope it lasts =)

Ok, catching up with everyone else!

Tonya - Good luck on trying to lose the weight. We are all here for you! I wish I could have a treadmill but I think it would be too noisy in the apartment. Besides, we have NOWHERE to put it!

Belle - Congrats on the condo! It sounds wonderful! I would love to be a homeowner in the next 5 years...thats what I'm shooting for =)

Kirsty - My brother had that bug too and it lasted for over a week with him! Poor guy =(

Hi JenK, KT, and anyone else I missed!

Lori, glad to hear your first day of two jobs went well. Enjoy your hockey game tonight!

Hi all,

Can I ask some advice...

I my starting weight with weight watchers this time was 200. ( I lost 8 pounds on my own prior to that). My first point range was 24-29, but that lasted only a week when I dropped into the range I am in now which is 22-27. I am comfortable with that. I thought I didn't have to drop another range until I hit 170 but found out today that I am only 1.5 pounds away from dropping into 20-25. I have to be honest and say that I am really scared! How did you handle dropping into a new point range? Did you get hungry? ANy ideas to make your points go further? I thought I would be happy at dropping down....and I am still not there yet....but it is going to happy soon. How do I prepare myself?

I am really worried about this.

Hi everyone!

PLEASE, someone help me get back on track. I spent the entire weekend eating out, although it's really not my fault. I had a two-day job interview Friday and Monday, and I got taken out for lunch and dinner both days. I TRIED to order well, really, but I got taken out for Indian, Chinese, seafood and then Thai. Saturday and Sunday I spent with my mother-in-law, and she doesn't cook, so we went out instead (just TRY eating healthy at Fuddruckers. I dare you! I got the smallest burger they have). Sunday night I visited my aunt and uncle, and I got a nice home-cooked, balanced food group dinner. And now I'm home and exhausted.

On the other hand, the interview went very well. DH also interviewed there and I think they're going to make us offers. I'm also interviewing at another place on Friday ... and that's the job I want more. So cross your fingers!!

Ah, I need to go to the gym. Maybe tonight. I haven't been since my wedding! I'm so bad.

Hope everyone's having a good Tuesday!

Hi girls! My pics are too small but I'll post on my web site on the weekend for you to see my new condo. I am having a fight with my stepmonster about her and dad not seeing on Sunday b/c she didn't want to be "rushed" for dinner at the neighbours. I didn't get to talk to dad, it was all her, so who knows if that is really what he would have done, either way, if he can't stand up to her he has no balls...Taht ticks me off.

Lori - good job on your debt consolidation (meanwhile I am entering MORE debt). Interest up here is super low - my mortgage is is 5.1% for 5 years.

Rina - Calgary is awesome too - its 16C today!! I checked out the WW web site - I liked it. Thanks for sending me that way! I am feeing a bit ovewhelmed with all that is going on in my personal life so I need some extra motivation...

Angie - I wouldn't worry. I made the change down to 22-27 recently too and I thought it woudl make a big difference, but it doesn't really. You'll be okay - be brave and happy you are losing so fast!!

Kim - that is great that your interview went well! Let me/us know what happens! As for motivation, Get thee to a gym!!! I totallyunderstand though, now that your wedding is over the "goal" is gone in some ways, but you need to find another one... Don't worry. Its in you, you just have to find it.

Tonya - if you can't make a meeting, then do the online thing - its something to hlep you along the way.

Well, back to work - lots to do before 4:30....

Have a good night girls!!

Belle
