Kiere-
It sounds like it didnt take long to rebound from that crush! Go get em girl!!!
I am sure your grandmother will do great. They do angioplastys all the time...very common. I am sure they have a very high success rate. Just help keep her spirits high and she will recover before you know it!
Have a great weekend!!!

I have weigh in today instead of Saturday and then I am off to my parents house for the weekend. I have a feeling I may be over on points for a couple days, but I will eat light on points for a few days after. I will start out with negative points banked for the week and work my way back into the postitives!!

Time to hit the shower...I have a million things to get done this morning before I can leave...namely pack!

I will try and post when I get to my parents this afternoon.

Take care all!

Kierie! You're so wonderful.... knock 'em all dead. As for the boy... he's a troll and you can do so much better (example: hot body boy with dimples). Hope your Grandmother is feeling okay... you're such a wonderful person being there for her.

Marcie - have a great time this weekend...and good luck at WI.

So I borrowed a friends digital camera to take pictures of all my clothes. I am selling 79 items!!! I better get some good money.... my closet is EMPTY now. I cried about 5 times last night. Some of these clothes bring back some great memories. I dont want to give them away. It just makes me sad. I'm sending my mom a couple tops that I just love.... so she'll have them for me maybe one day in the far far future when I'm pregnant or something.

Tonight, Brian and I are going to see Carmen, the opera, which is being performed on the Boston Common outdoors. It's such a beautiful day... so that will be so much fun. I'm making bruschetta and lemon pepper chicken to bring. With grapes and pineapple for desset. I'm excited.

YAY FOR FRIDAY. Hope everyone has a great day! I'll be back soon I'm sure.

Kier - I'm pretty sure that no matter what, you've always "got it"! Sorry to hear about your grandma, when someone you love needs a procedure it is always scary. Marcie's right though - it's a fairly common procedure these days - keep your chin-up (and gram's too) you'll be in my thoughts.

Marcie - Have fun this weekend. When you get back, tell us horror stories about how the captain of the football team is now a balding, pot bellied, middle aged, used car salesman.

I got a little bit of bad news yesterday. My smart, kind, beautiful 16 year old cousin whom I adore called me to tell me that the Dr's have diagnosed her with MS. I don't know much about it other than that it is rarely fatal but is progressive and debilitating. I need to spend some time on-line researching so I can educate myself but if any of you knows anything about this disease, I'd appreciate hearing what you know.

Hi to all that will check in later.

Lisa - we must have posted at the same time. Smart idea to take pictures of the clothes. Tonight sounds like a wonderful time. Enjoy yourself....and Brian! Laura

Morning, everyone! I don't know about the rest of you, but I am SOOOOOO glad it's Friday. I didn't make it back to post yesterday because yesterday turned into kind of a crappy day. Me and a couple of other girls went to a rummage sale and then a garage sale (which isn't uncommon) and managed to forget all about a meeting that we were supposed to be at. Luckily, a couple of people covered for us, but it still put me on edge and made me want to really work my tail off to compensate. And the list of things I finished yesterday is very impressive, so I must have done a good job. Today, however, I'm going to spend a little time browsing recipes, since I didn't get to look at any yesterday. Hopefully I'll find some good (simple) ones. I'm going to the grocery store today and have on the list supplies for: Buffalo Chicken, Calico Chicken Chowder, and Black Bean soup. Oh, and some more Ziploc containers to freeze it all in. Hopefully that'll tide me over for awhile. And in the meantime, I'll get more recipes and hopefully stay un-bored with my foods.

WI was last night. Up .8. It's a few days before TOM, and I it was my first WI with jeans on so I couldn't take it too seriously. Besides, I haven't been very good lately. After WI, I went and got a whole pile of junk food, ate until I felt sick and am ready to get back OP. Cross your fingers for me.

Plans for my weekend aren't too thrilling. Tonight I'm going to go workout, grocery shop, and clean. Hopefully that'll leave plenty of time for scrapping and stamping on Saturday. Sunday, BF and I are going to the zoo (at least, that's the plan) and watch Sopranos in the evening.

Kier--You are a man magnet, you temptress, you! Yikes that piercing sounds pretty icky! It sounds like you had a long week, but it sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. Have a good one!

Marcie--Hope you have a great weekend and vacation!!

Lisa--Are you selling your stuff online or having a garage sale type of thing? You'll have to share any pointers you have with the rest of us for when we get rid of our old wardrobes. It sounds like you have wonderful plans with Brian, it beats the heck out of my plans to clean! Have a good time tonight!

Laura--I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. My second cousin has MS. I don't know a whole lot about it, besides that it can act quickly or slowly, some people are responsive to some of the new medications and lead normal lives. The good news is that research is constantly being done and that new treatments are coming out fairly rapidly.

Ooops. Gotta go! I'll be back later.

Default Hey Chicks

How are you all? I was out sick yesterday- its still my stomach giving me probs. I am still not feeling 100% , with cramping and other fun stuff, but at least I have no fever and I can sit for 45 min at a time. I have to get owrk done!!

Kier - boys suck. Glad the crush is gone and you are over it!! You deserve better....Maybe we have the same stomach disease!! What did your doc say? Mine may be a parasite from Thailand....yuck.

Marcie - good luck at WI!!

Laura - sorry to hear about your cousin. MS seems to be more and more common lately. My friends dad has had it for 30 years and only uses a cane, so that is some good news. She can still live a good quality life! I am thinking of your family....

Jess - for sure its TOM. I mean .8 isn't even a whole #!! Lucky you had people to cover your butt in the meeting!! I can relate, just went for an hour coffee break and I should be working my butt off since I missed yesterday and fully intend to leave early if my tummy doesn't improve....!

Well, back to work. Hope you all have a great weekend...

Hey, where is Kim??

Hi ladies...

So. I was SO hungry today. I usually eat around noon, but by 10:30 my stomach was growling and I was just so hungry. I did have a Dunkin Donuts munchkin from the breakroom, but luckily I stopped myself at one. So, we went to the cafeteria. I had a nice big healthy salad (free excpet a little turkey and some kidney beans). So, I ate my salad.... but I was still hungry... so I go through the caff and there's pizza... and I was so about to get it... but then I just decided to get another salad. I know the lunch lady thought I was on something.... getting two salads.. and while a salad and a slice of pizza is much more normal than two salads and I knew I'd loook like a freak... I did it anyway.

Laura! I don't know what to say... I don't know much about MS either... but my heart goes out to you and your cousin. I can't imagine what it must have been like finding out. I'll be thinking about you!

Jess... 0.8 with jeans... I'm sure your jeans are like 3 pounds... so who knows... you might have even been down. I'm selling them on eBay. I sold a bunch of clothes on eBay last year. I got about $100 for 15-pieces.... which I know the clothes are worth much more... but consignment shops are so b!tchy to me. They don't take "plus sizes" she said. Whatever... and if I can get $200-$200 for all of my clothes... that would be a nice shopping spree.

Belle - so sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I hope you're feeling better soon. Have you been to the doctor?

Hey all, nothing new with me...

Lisa, I have been selling clothes on ebay and I noticed my plus sized clothes sell quite nicely. I had a bunch of suits that I kept just because I couldn't give them away. One suit sold for double what I thought it would. Write a nice thing about them and I am sure you will do fine. I found that if you sell them in an outfit group, they sell better than individually (as in 1 shirt). I have been watching for maternity clothes on there, but the ones I want always sell so high.

Belle and Kier... hope you feel better soon.

Guess I should get some work done. Ughhhh...

Hi everyone - I'm busy but I quickly wanted to commit myself to going to WI tomorrow with you guys cause I know if I tell you I'm going to that I won't back out. I've got to see how much I've gained.
