The scoop on carbonation

  • Hey girls.

    Okay, I have yet another question! What is everyone's opinion on carbonation?
    I've heard that diet soda can be worse for you than even a light beer because of all the acid and sodium in it. Opinions?

    Also, I have recently found the WalMart wonder of the flavored carbonated water... Clearly American It's soo good, and has nothing in it. No sodium, sugar, calories... nada. But is carbonation bad? Does it make you retain water? And if it's not then will it count for daily water?

    We're allowed to count decaffienated beverages as a water, even if they are carbonated.

    I for one drink diet cokes like a mad woman! I know it's not great though.

    Lisa is right. I also love the Clearly American carbonated waters from Walmart. If you are like me, I get tired of drinking 100 oz. of regular water every day! So, the fruity taste of the flavored water is a great change. Drink all ya want!

    As a side note on the diet colas. I too, like diet soda, but it doesn't like me. Diet Coke gives me bad headaches, and all of the diet sodas (if I drink more than a few in a week) give me acne. But, I am sure they affect people differently.
